I would say wires, but the fact that it dies when put in gear says to me that it's electronic. The ECU by nature starts to compensate with the engine when the car is put in drive. If it were wires, it would run crappy all the time. If it's the MAF or something crazy like the O2 sensor, I could under...

WTB Legacy in South Central PA/Northern MD/Philly area
Just as the title says. I have these preferences though:
Around $2500
Preferably 5MT AWD
Nothing with more than ~125k miles
Has to be daily driver capable - no project cars

It's been my understanding that you can unplug the fuel connector on ALL BC sedans under the back seat where Murphy has indicated. I could be wrong though. If push comes to shove, just pull the fuel pump relay. You can. the plug exists there on every BC sedan. Some people think it's easier to unplu...

There's varying response with the FWD fuse. Most people say and agree that it's meant specifically for troubleshooting only. 30 miles on the FWD fuse at the most. Others have driven with it in for hundreds and thousands of miles with no problems. Maybe they were just lucky? Odds are, if the car driv...

I think phpbb does an ok job at dealing with avatars. Ones limited to 6k and 80x80 are easy to load and easy on those with dial-up (I surfed forums like that for many years). I wouldn't mind avatars, but there's no way to force someone to use a picture of their car. You could always just put your ca...
