I think it would be better to have just a LW crank pulley. This means that the crank is easier for the engine to turn. An underdriven one makes the alternator, power steering, and A/C turn slower - which isn't good for their operation.

Without more info, I can only think of that maybe your Throttle Position Sensor is out of whack.

Oooh...no A/C. That wouldn't work for me. It's a nice car though. A little bit of rust issues in the engine bay, but it's a clean car.

Those rims look like they go to a 1994 Legacy Turbo though...

AFAIK, the EJ22T was not equipped with a MAP, but a MAF.

Seems to me that the pressure sensor or exchange solenoid valve is inoperative.

It seems that a lot of the new Impreza owners are dbags. I mean, come on, there are people asking 9k for pre 2002 2.5RS's and they really aren't that fast or interesting in the grand scheme of things. On the other hand, I know a lot of Impreza owners around here and they aren't dbags. Some of them a...

Did you buy an FWD SVX? That could be your problem right there... Oh no. It's AWD for sure. It has the pumpkin in the rear. The FWD fuse is not installed either. Sometimes it feels like it catches, other times it doesn't. I'm not used to driving a car with so much power. Sometimes I feel like I can...

Stock 2.2L's with stock exhaust are quiet. In traffic, I could almost never hear the engine when stopped. If you have that loud of a sound, I think that you may have a problem. OEM equipment is not a solution. Take a video with sound and do it so we can hear the engine - what you think is loud may n...

Out of the Legacy World for a while...sort of

Well, ever since about a month ago, I've been car-less and driving around a gas hungry Corvette. So, tonight I picked up a 1995 Subaru SVX LSi for a daily driver. I know it's not a Legacy, but I couldn't justify getting a AT Legacy when I could get an AT SVX for the same money. I'm still trying to g...
