I've now been able to see the knock, O2, digital temperature, maf.

I've noticed my O2 readouts are bouncing. My car has rough idle and hesitation. How would I track down the source?

Also I noticed that my timing advance is only 20degrees. This could be bad for fuel efficiency.

the refresh rate on this scanner is very fast compared to the PC solution.

As far as fuel guage, all I do is hit the trip reset after full fillups, and count up 480KM then refill again.

My fuel sensor is due for r/r

Second Generation legacies usually are equipped with OBD2 diagnostic computers so you would not need this scan tool. You can pickup pretty good scan tools for obd2 second gen legacies online. There are better tools out there from reputable sellers for second generation legacies.

Where is the original agreement you publicly posted to this forum about me sending back the scan tool? What are you promising to do with the scan tool I sent back to you? I sent that scan tool O...

Throttle/oversteer

So does that mean your main point is that for proper control of oversteer+getting sideways ON PURPOSE one needs excellent throttle response. If so...How do rally car drivers ensure their engines have instantaneous throttle response? And are you also saying that the time between the e-brake applicati...

How to get a Warranty on stuff you buy online

If anyone is thinking of purchasing from Vender Garage, or any online shop, ebay or not, private vendor or not, I discovered there is a way to purchase warranty and accidental damage protection to protect your investments. The neat thing about the policy is that they will warranty your goods even if...

Tachometer response to throttle input during failure event.

The tachometer does not respond to RPM signals. It flatlines to zero and does not move. It basically says that the engine is off, even though it is not.

I hope that makes it more clear

Weird Tachometer and Cruise control gremlins

When I have the cruise control turned on, and I am in cruise at speed, the cruise control suddenly cuts off and at the same time the tachometer (engine rpm) drops to zero rpm (engine is still running), and the car drops out of cruise. It takes several minutes for cruise and/or the tachometer to come...

I think it would be much better for VRG3 to sell the adaptor, and port the software over to IPAQ handheld or even a laptop. He could sell the software licensed copies with the kit. My LT and IPAQ are known quantities.

My IPAQ and my laptop are warrantied, however the juicebox will never be.

On the contrary, I think the aggravation comes from the complexity of build-your-own. Most users, this community included, are far more willing to purchase a product that's pre-packaged and ready to be used, or is "plug-in". This is, however, moving off topic. vrg3 has the right to market...

Is there anyway to get the scan tool software used in the juicebox ported over to a laptop or PocketPC, and use it with http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~v/b10scan/

?

I figure my laptop or pocketpc would be less likely to break down, and both come with a 3 year warranty from HP

Here's a step by step instruction guide on how to hack your own juicebox and prepare it to do your bidding.

Here is a well-published site that can provide you schematic diagrams of the juicebox, as well as flow charts. Most of the work is open-source.

Well you're missing the point. The creator would simply make a module that interfaces with your currently pimped out entertainment system in your car.
