Just wondering if I can get a complete exhaust system from a 90-92 sedan and put it on my 91 wagon?
Same length and hangers the same?
Up to what year is it a clean swap for my 91 NA?
Thanks

Update
I don't know whether I screwed up my HLA's or not, but after a trip on the freeway, there is no more clicking sound. Guess I didn't prime them good enough and thus they all were clicking.
I will know within 2000miles if the sound comes back again.
Comments still welcome!

did I break (collapse) my HLA's
Hey, It's been a while since I read the threads on bleeding HLA's. Yesterday I finally had enough of the loud ticking at start up until the engine warmed up. So I took the passenger rockerarm off and proceeded to pull the HLA's via pliers over a towel. I remembered you had to pump the HLA by hand to...

Lifters
I took off the valve cover and rockerarm assembly on a 92+ wagon, and was unable to find the lifters, or what I should look for.
I saw the valves sticking out through their springs, but where are the lfiters?

I tried getting the socket onto the two nuts and bolts attaching the strut to the hub, but the CV was in the way of the nuts, and there is not much sense in loosening the bolts, there isn't much room to manuver a breakerbar... I don't think I mentioned the brake line. So if I want to take the whole ...

removing rear struts
I went to the junkyard to pick up a driveshaft and possibly struts from a 92+ AWD wagon, forgot the 34 socket though and couldn't get to the struts otherwise. Is that correct - I have to remove the axle nut and slide the axle out of the hub, in order to take the struts off?! Also is it necessary to ...

Josh or anyone do you guys have any hints or tips on removing and installing a driveline? The tranny and rear diff will still be in in both cars. I would like to keep it that way too, is this possible, or do I have to remove one of them? What tools will I need besides a ratchet? I was going to try t...

Thanks guys, that saved me a trip to the yonke! So I can hear a loud vibration (a mild continuous clunking) when I let off of the gas and when I apply the brakes in second to the point of getting close to stalling. Right now I can move the driveshaft up and down at the center bearing, about half an ...

I take my wagon out on some gnarly dirt roads when I have time, so extra clearance would be awesome! are the original holes strenghtened that I would not have by drilling them myself? Has anybody done this before? how many miles are on these, what kind of off roading have they seen? will my tophats ...

Driveline clunking??
I just took my soobster down Baja for the second time, and it was great! I went on several dirt roads, good ones, bad ones, long and short.... No worries at all, even picked up a full size spare at the local Yonke before leaving. My last night I parked at a weired angle with some wheels compressed a...

The symptom: dull clunk or thunk noises from the rear suspension while driving over surface irregularities at low speed. The noise can also be replicated when the car is sitting still by bouncing on the bumper. At speeds over 20mph or so there is no noise. I have the same symptom on my 91 wagon. By...

After pushing the cruise control button, you have to engage the cc by pushing down on a little lever on the right back side of the steering wheel. When the steering wheel is straight, the lever is between the wheel and the windshield wiper lever. I believe you have to push down on the lever to engag...

1-3-2-4, you said your steering wheel is shaking, I had the same and it was caused by a bad wheel bearing, you should check to see if the wheel will wiggle around when off the ground. I had no problems with the axle nut, i rented a socket and a torque wrench from autozone, had to buy my own 2ft brea...
