I actually had the same idea as you did with the turbo Legacy being a good FSP car. I have been rallycrossing a 2.2 liter NA 93 for about 2 1/2 years and I have been autocrossing varies cars for about 7 years. I realized what class this car would be in and thought it would be a great car for that cl...

20 minutes of course time???? How many runs on which courses? We did 6 runs on both days. Basically just ran the course one direction in the morning and the opposite in the afternoon for both days. A total of 12 runs. I felt it was well worth my time and money to compete in the event, even though I...

Well I got home last night from the event. The legacy took 2nd in the prepared all-wheel drive class finishing only 0.262 seconds behind a 2.5 RS after over 20 minutes of course time. I will be installing my STi suspension next week in time to run another local event and beat the guy who beat me thi...

Who will be there? I am registered in Rally Prepared All-wheel Drive. Hope to not be the only Legacy there.

Good times. Arg! rallylegacy57 beat me by just a second in the NA Legacy! I need more practice  You forgot to mention I was on street tires to your rally tires. I will say the course probably favored the low end torque of the NA motor over the turbo motor. Either way it was great seein...

1990 Legacy AWD Parts Car: for sale
As the title states, I have a 1990 Legacy L AWD for parts. You can take the whole car or pick and choose some parts. The motor is out of the car but runs very strong. It has 256,000 miles. The 4EAT transmission is on its last legs, the ECU is junk. Make offers on any parts or even the car. I need to...

Feeler: 1990 Legacy 2.2 automatic parts
I have a 1990 Legacy L AWD that recently died at a rallycross. I am thinking about parting it out as I have found another car to rally. I am thinking about keeping the 2.2 to build a turbo EJ22 for the new rallycross car in the future. Have at it and I will answer about all the parts available. I am...

The next event is on May 6 at our BMW Farm location. I will give a link to directions as the event gets closer. Sam, there might be a replacement for the Legacy, I found a local 1987 Subaru GL-10 turbo wagon, that needs a new clutch and has a fairly low mileage motor and a spare turbo and computer. ...

Well Sam, I hope you will be able to solve your driveline problems. I guess this weekend just wasn't a good one for Legacys as mine decided on my co-drivers first afternoon run not shift out of first and then destroyed the flexplate that connects the torque converter to the motor. I was doing well t...

Yup, I'm planning on it. I hope you don't school me with less turbo  I doubt that will happen, considering the car is running so wierd lately with the ECU screwing up. I haven't had the time to fix it an since it is still running ok I haven't been forced to fix it. We shall see how she runs th...

Yup the courses are still getting changed from morning to afternoon. We even added a new element to the course that is really fun. Knowing how to do a pendulum turn has paid off very well if you know what I mean. :-D Many guys slow way down to get the car around the 180 degree turn, so I think I pic...

PS - I think I heard you're rockin the results in that old beater legacy. Way to go! Yup I somehow came out on top of the Street Tire 4WD class and manged a 3rd overall FTD. Only two rally tire guys beat me. I still must say the courses suited the Legacy very well since they were not power courses,...
