If you're not going to be using it or harvesting the gauges and needles out of it, I may be interested in whats left of the GC gauge overlay (the STI trim)

Nice writeup! I too just performed a similar install. I had a burnt out element but it was the result of a broken wire: Why would you even bother? I feel old, I feel cold! But seriously, if you even have to ask, then don't waste your time. How does it work? It's just like having a rear defrost insta...

As dumb as it sounds, nothing compares to the quality of NGK wires.

Both Subarus I drive have them installed.

I had a set of Autolite wires on my Forester for less than a year and they started arcing. No signs of wear, just genuine junk.

Don't waste your money. You'll benefit more from upgraded bushings. Besides, those are DEFINITELY not for any Subaru I've ever seen.

What a crappy situation! At least the seller was willing to work with you while you got screwed over by a lame shipping company. It looks like a lot of the car transport places are scams. I had a similar bad experience when I wanted to ship a car. I found a website called www.haulingdepot.com. They ...

I think the LW flywheel has it's +'s and -'s. I have an easier time rev matching with the stock heavy flywheel than the lightweight one. I think that's just because I suck at it though - lol. An Exedy clutch that lasted 5K miles doesn't seem right to me. I've been happy with every clutch kit from th...

It's still more expensive to install the injectors than I would have imagined.

Interestingly there are Nissan Injector O-ring kits on ebay that contain a lot of the required orings. Might be able to save some money if you were to pick them up that way.

95 was a changeover year. My 95 Impreza is OBDI, yet I've seen one that was OBDII. My 95FSM contains troubleshooting procedures for OBDI AND OBDII. Goofy! Re: This clutch, that clutch?

do the 02-05 wrx clutchs fit? The WRX clutch works fine, though the clutch disk is apparently a few mm larger than the Legacy disk. In my experience (and in many others) this is a non issue. I've yet to hear of any problems as a result of running the WRX clutch. I've got just about 40K miles on min...

Ideally I would be able to fix the problem with the tranny in the car from underneath but maybe that won't be the case? Nate, from what you are saying the gears will be compatible within the housing itself and the only change would be the rear diff? That I can handle. This is assuming though the ge...

Of course, Matt is correct but I'll add. Yes, the tailcone/housing will work between phase 1 and phase 2 as long as the corresponding center diff is switched as well. In your case, the tailshaft from a WRX has the 1.1:1 transfer gears to make the 3.9 front diff work with the 3.54 rear diff. If you w...
