I'm actually out of CT. But it looks like this boost controller place is in NY state, so if I ordered it from them I should have it by the weekend...

Thanks for the link! I'll give them a call and see what their estimated shipping time would be.

Where to buy rubber coupler for WRX TMIC to TB ASAP?

Any local stores sell rubber couplers big enough for the WRX TMIC outlet to TB fitting? I went to my local Home Depot, biggest they had was 2". Autozone had nothing but radiator hose sized stuff. I know I can always go to www.turbohoses.com, but I'm kind of looking for something local so I can ...

Need mud flaps

I've been missing the front passenger one since I got the car, and I just melted the rear driver side mudflap with my shop light while working on the car.

Please let me know what you have, and what you're looking to get for it shipped to 06460. Thanks. :-)

I think the recirc elbow gets in the way of the cruise cable, if not the throttle cable itself. It tends to bleed off a bit of air at idle, too, so if you pull the recirc elbow off you'll have problems at idle (in addition to the typical WOT problems of venting metered air to the atmosphere with an ...

WRX TMIC + Cruise Control = What BOV/BPV/DV Options?

Ok, so: 1) Stock DV with the electrical box plate and 90 degree copper elbow off of the WRX TMIC. What Else? 2) Turbo XS Type-H with Turbo XS Adapter? What others have people gotten to work? Recirc. or atmosphere? I thought it would be good to have all of these listed in one post for future referenc...

I have this BOV on my GSX. The whistle is completely eliminated when the recirc kit is installed. The recirc kit is pretty much a hose and a sleeve that slides into the BOV in place of the purple or gold fitting.

How does the car run with the BOV vented?

I had similar problems, ended up using vice grips, a breaker bar, and a hammer to get the last nut off. You had better luck than me. I could not, for the life of me, get the vice grips to hold the nut. I consider myself a pretty damn strong guy, and with the vice grips as tight as I could get them,...

I should have though of the chisel earlier... I ended up using my die grinder and grinding off as little of the stud while hitting as much of the nut as possible. It actually ended up working out pretty well. The two studs I had to take the die grinder to still have most of the thread on them...

I don't have any of that stuff. But regardless, I'd rather spend $800 and have a painted car, a set of new tools, and a newfound knowledge of how to paint, then just spend $400 on a painted car. Actually, when it comes down to it, the only reason I WOULD spend money to paint the car is if it got som...
