This is going to seem pretty random...but... I need some fabric like that which covers the door panels and center of my seats on my 93SS. It's a grey color with blue and red (and maybe green? can't remember) stitching. I just need a 4" by 7" piece...if you have a car with trashed seats or ...

If it's Sandstone, I'm looking for:

Both front doors
Front passenger fender
Turbo front bumper

Also looking for a set of the SS rims, and a rear passenger side valve stem cap.

Ehh, I'm looking for Sandstone stuff. The only pieces I'd be interested in then would be the rims, and I'm guessing that this thing doesn't have 'em.

I know I'm bringing a thread "back from the dead", but just thought I'd keep the archives updated. :-) I tried to order my plug wires from cyber auto today, and when I clicked "submit" on the online order page, a bunch of html jargon just came up. I called up customer support and...

Josh,

What exactly was that cocktail besides the synchromesh and the shock proof (haven't stumbled across his recommendation yet on NASIOC)? How's it working out after a couple of weeks of driving with it?

Hah, way to edit your post up about 4hrs after you posted it. To answer your question, I'm not an expert regarding Subaru trannies, and you know what? I don't have to be. I don't have to have ANY credibility or know a damn thing about them because I'm not giving any advice, I just looking for answer...

BAC5.2...just curious as to when and how exactly you became an expert regarding our trannies? In my tranny-fluid research I stumbled across this thread: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=18054&highlight=change+fluid Just a year ago you were asking how to change your fluid and what flu...

Using Lightweight Shockproof will help your transmission shift perfectly again. MT90 is a GL-4 fluid, and isn't recomended for our cars. Vikash is using it, and his car shifts very well, but LWSP is even better. Here's Redline's description of their LWSP oil: A unique gear oil designed to lubricate...

Haha, great link. Checked it out today. As I pulled up, the first thing I noted was that physically, the car looked like COMPLETE @$$. It didn't have the turbo bumper (must have messed it up before), the paint on the entire car is completely faded or chipping, there's a dent on the driver side door ...

Thanks for all the input guys. I talked to the guy selling the car personally tonight. He's done all the work on the car himself and seemed to know alot about subie's all together (He mentioned he picked up another non-turbo '90 legacy and that the timing belt went...I asked him if it was an interfe...

I'll offer him $1200, but I'm betting there's no way he'll take it. I didn't talk to him but he left a message on my phone. The guy definitely knew what the car was, and what it was worth. You really think that, no matter how good the mecahnicals, it's only worth $1200??

If the body is truly rough I would not consider that a god deal You may be able to find similar pricing with a much better body, and a few niggling mechanical problems that are easy to fix Locally? These are the kind of first posts that we love to get :) The transmissions aren't "glass," but if you do beat the hell out of them, you will break them. Being an AWD DSM owner, you have probably heard just as many tranny-grenading stories as we have. In short, don't dump the clutch at red...

*Sigh*...another "good deal?" post...but MY first.

Hi guys, first off, just want to mention that yes, I’ve done my research. I’ve looked into the common problems with these cars, their history, moddability, etc. My other cars include an IROC Camaro, 5-spd Lexus SC300 (daily driver, soon to be turbo’d), and a 2nd gen AWD Turbo eclipse (heavily modifi...
