Re: 1991 SS, and a trip.
This reminds me of the time on a group drive in northern Maine a member with an 02 outback discoverd his new car was way rustier than he previously thought. http://i.imgur.com/01Ae7EK.jpg Luckily another member had a chain saw and some straps and came up with this clever solution http://i.imgur.com/...

Re: urabus's subarus
It is definitely more difficult to work on than my legacy. According to the previous owner it has a jdm gen3 motor swap and made almost 300whp. It sounds amazing with the turbo spooling a couple feet away from your head haha.

Re: urabus's subarus
I don't have any big updates with the car lately. I have been driving it a ton this summer and even with the conservative street tune it is an animal. I still plan on installing my aem meth kit and tune it to its fullest potential but I have been a little distracted lately by other projects. http://...

Re: urabus's subarus
Time for another update. A lot has changed since the last time I was here. http://i.imgur.com/ZwLrNxZ.jpg I am now running a fpgreen turbo and have ditched the Robtune for a Hydra standalone ecu. Other changes include a nameless header, tial ewg, hks replica bov, new power steering setup, new alumin...

Re: Favourite Picture of your Car
^ Love everything about this. I did the exact same thing with putting rs vents and a big scoop on the hood of my last sport sedan. Now I run a fmic an no scoop ( I like to be stealthy). It looks like you did a much better job than I did. Here is a pic of my car returning home from the Wicked Big Mee...

I was the hoon of the day on Jalopnik
I emailed Jalopnik about their lack of love for the first gen Legacy and the video I included was featured as the hoon of the day!

Re: Dry pavement donuts
I have a 6 speed and matching r180 rear diff. I know it is still bad for my drivetrain but I can justify doing some random hooning now and then. Whats the point of building the car up if you don't drive it like a jackass sometimes?

Dry pavement donuts
I made a short video with the go pro. I know this is stupid but I am in the middle of nowhere and had just finished a 400+ mile trip without incident and I felt like it was warranted. Enjoy.

http://i.imgur.com/1kepnstl.jpg I Dyno'd the Legacy on Saturday at the local Subaru clubs annual meet at Granite State Dyno. I made 263whp at 17psi. I have gotten pretty comfortable with this power level and I already want more! I have been spending money like crazy on this stupid car lately so I n...

Went up the the White mountains and ran the Kanc fromt the Lincolnville side. Car ran flawlessly the entire day. Over 500 miles on it since the rebuild and I am still amazed at the performance on low boost. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q146/urabusturbo/subie5_zpsbe4c81b3.jpeg http://i135.photo...

Update! The 22t is currently at the machine shop getting acl bearings, eagle rods, and cp pistons.
