Ok, cleaned the MAF and pulled the battery and cleared all codes. Ran fine for the past few weeks. Just last night right after start up and driving maybe 200 ft waiting at a stoplight it started doing the rough idle and CEL on again. The second i accelerated it went away This time it was only a #24 ...

http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=32392 Right thats cause an atmospheric BOV w/o a proper tune for it/managment is a bad idea, turbo legacy or wrx/sti. Im talking about using them to allow you to use a stock WRX/STI recirc. bypass valve (BPV) over the crappy stock plastic legacy turbo BPV...

See my post Gauging Interest: TMIC BPV adapters, you can buy some for aftermarket BOV's w/ a slotted channel for a setscrew for ~45 + shipping but you have to get creative with the hoses. If i can find enough people to go in with my i have a co-worker who will make them up for me with 1.25" hos...

One is pull and one is push. They are designed totally differently. With one, you pull back on the spring-fingers to engage the clutch, and the other you push forward on the spring fingers. The flywheel is probably interchangeable, but the pressure plate is definately not. To get to the forks, EVER...

It wont work because the way the slave cylinder/cable mount bolts to the tranny is different The bellhousing is a totally different design between the push/pull style. Right, i understand there is no way to make a pull hyrdo fork work in a push hyrdo gearbox. but im asking what is different about t...

Ok, i cant seem to get a clear answer on this. Can a turbo flywheel/clutch be used with an N/A hyrdo gearbox. I understand the turbo is a pull and N/A is a push but what would be different about the fork engagement/throwout bearing to the pressure plate (assuming you had the N/A push slave cyl.)? Ca...

Gauging Interest: TMIC Adapters

Hey guys, So ive been trying to get rid of the worthless plastic BPV on my SS for a while now. I finally came across a FMIC adapter flange for an OEM WRX BPV so i was able to relocate it (since it would interfere with the TB cable linkage). One of my co-workers runs a machine shop on the side and ga...

So this http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1304025 caught my eye. Are there any differences on the clutch fork/slave cylinder/clutch/flywheel i would have to swap to use this? How about axle spline count? Would the 93 axles work on this? How about the driveshaft?

Hey guys, Im in need of a 3.9 manual gearbox for my 93 turbo legacy. First gear will not engage. While i have the rest of the box working fine it really sucks not having first. I would like to get a replacement so i can still drive while i try and fix this one. If anyone has an old turbo box or know...

I have been and nothing is coming up. It runs like trash under boost though. I show up to full boost but it does not pull at all. And when i let off its running extra rich and can smell gas. Which CEL is it...

So i was sitting at a light and the car starts missing and i get a solid CEL. It revs but is still missing. I then go to accelerate and it misses for a second and then the CEL turns off and boosts fine. I pull the codes (it was clear of any stored codes before this) and i get the following 23 - Air ...

well some of the local club guys who started a small company called grimmspeed have started fabricating phenolic spacers for 02+ turbo motors (using new gaskets on the block and intake side of the spacer) to reduce heat transfer from block to intake manifold with no issues. So i dont see why using a...
