Whats the length from the rear hanger on the axle back to the end of the tip? It looks as if it would hang out a mile past the bumper. Any issues with the sway bar and the resonator on an SS?

Any sound clips by chance?

Yup, they are just a knurled press fit bolt. Same as how your lug bolts are attached. Get a BFH and go at it!

ACT Heavy Duty PP FTW! I had one on mine with a stock sprung disc and it was MUCH better of a feel. Not a leg killer either. Part # was SB012, which strangely enough is the same for 02-05 WRX and the Saabaru despite people saying the clutches are different. Rated up to 480ft/lbs i believe. If your i...

Sounds like a blown strut or 2 to me. Does it bounce unevenly and starts to loose the back end? When i first got my SS the front left and rear right struts were toast and it was terrifying to take around turns.

FS: H&R 02-03 Springs

Hey just wondering if anyone would be interested in a set of H&R Progressive springs PN 29 356. ~1.5" drop, Rates: 196.25-204.1 front 186.25-193.7 rear I had them on my car for ~5k miles but wasnt pleased with the ride height since i could no longer clear gravel tires. Standard minor rust f...

the 06 samco hose for wrx still needs to be cut up, right? The 90* section from the compressor outlet will need to be removed and extended. The one in my pics above is an 02-05 so as you can see i also had to cut it at the Y. But im pretty sure the 06 should fit right up to the elbows. Either way i...

The main fuse may be bolted in. I had an issue like this in an RX7 and was pulling on the fuse for a while before i noticed two covers for some 10mm bolts attaching the battery main to the fuse box.

Just an FYI for anyone else doing this. I encountered a problem with the rear hub dust seals. When i got...

He is correct, 06 WRX Sedan axles do fit the rear just fine with the 06 diff. Just make sure you have the short one on the drivers side or you will be swearing for a while. Donor parts: -06 Gearbox -06 Rear diff w/ axles -06 Fly/Clutch/PP (changed from a pull to push) -06 Clutch slave cyl and hose (...

Just for clarification did you use WRX sedan (male stub) axles in the rear diff or wagon (GC track), or SS axles?

No problems mounting the WRX diff using short studs with SS style mount or did you swap end caps?

WRX Fly/Clutch/PP?
Thanks!

I would highly suggest drilling it out first and tapping it for the proper NPT threads of the barb your going to use. Then JB weld it. Ive had the JB fail twice on me before i tapped it. Also make sure your hoses are long enough where your not putting any shear force on those fittings. Thats why the...

Yeah ive replaced the rubber a few times now. Ill give it a quick check again though. The EM with either be the G3 or an AEM EMS since i can get a good deal on them. Ill try it out with some air to the actuator. When you say you fixed a sticky actuator with some grinding, did you grind the rod where it was sticking or the hole by the diaphragm?

Yeah that would do it i bet! I used an OEM TOB. On topic of the thread: I would suggest getting an OEM full face sprung clutch. And if you can spring for it i would suggest this ACT heavy duty pressure plate. Its a nice upgrade from the OEM, good tight feel and grabs hard, but doesnt break your leg ...
