That is correct. I also have the arm adjusted as loose as possible without it making horrible rattle noises at idle. Its really strange and bothersome since i have no control over boost. If i connect my EBC at even 0% set level (wastegate pressure) and a low gain or high gain it will jump up to 16.5...

I checked clearance between the flapper and the divorced section of the DP. It has enough room to open as far as the actuator will allow. I had the compressor side ported but that shouldnt matter as the pressure is referenced off the compressor

When i did mine i had picked up a WRX flywheel cause i thought the micro fractures in my OEM fly couldnt be turned out. It came with an old pressure plate and clutch. I compared them to the ACT heavy duty PP and full face clutch ordered for my car and they are both EXACTLY the same size. At most the...

Wastegate question

Hey was wondering if anyone had any ideas why im encountering the following issue. I have a v.2 90* inlet 16g ive been unable to run at anything less then 1 bar. I thought perhaps my EBC was acting up so i tried shorting compressor outlet to the wastegate and i still hit exactly 1 bar in top of 2nd ...

mine required just over 6.75" from flange to flange of extension. I originally had a Invidia DP to an sti catback and then swapped to a Bosal twin tip. This is what my extension looks like. This is the muffler position I had to use the long Kartboy hangers to get it low enough to fit. Only the ...

Yeah thats what i was thinking. A logic switch or something, its just been a while since highschool electronics. Im also trying to think of a way to make it so it only will close with the remote start unit on too. Then the relay wouldnt be clicking every time i shift while driving. Only thing i can ...

Remote start ideas

Hey looking for some input on a security relay for a remote start in a 5MT. I would like to get my remote start unit installed in my 5MT but do not want to do it without a failsafe where it cant start if its in gear. Now i was going to put a relay between the remote start starter wire so that it wou...

http://www.allwheelengineering.com/basket/catalog.cgi?query_net_id=kartboy&query_class=KB-003 The 97-05 5MT bushings will fit and all the rear bushings are the same. Keep in mind these are the stay bar bushings. They will help a lot with slop but if your linkage bushings are shot it will still b...

What are you attributing the radiator failure to? What does the motor going three months later have to do with it? How did either the rad or motor fail?

You would have to ask dan to be sure but he has totally modified his radiator mounting to move it ~1" back to clear the FMIC core. So he had to get some low profile fans. Check his thread here: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=31938&highlight=koyo Also i know this has been cover...

Koyo Radiator

So i got sick and tired of OEM radiators leaking from cracked end tanks or rows like this: http://oksubaru.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=6976 So for $280 shipped i picked up a Koyo from Race Inspired. As Dan (93forestpearl) said in his write up this is a direct replacement for the OEM radiator (so ...
