Re: STi Swap?
The u-joint style is probably better but it doesn't really matter because its usually the front most U-joint that fails. The type of wheels you use won't really matter because the rear differential is independent of the hubs. edit: wait a minute... Are you talking about half shafts which go between ...

Re: Special Treat for Pep's @ Legacycentral
The 5th injector is stock? If so, it's quite interesting that Subaru would do that. Dry manifolds don't typically perform well wet. Thats how Subaru cheated. Those manifolds aren't uncommon. Standard cars listed them as a 'cold start injector' and with the regular ECU thats all it did. If you were ...

Re: IAC how does it work?
The IAC has two distinct parts. A heat activated clock spring which opens and closes based on the temperature of coolant going through it and a solenoid on top. Is your idle high? Do you have a check engine light? I've never tested if its open during high idle but it shouldnt matter since its still ...

Legacy Turbo - Sensors from strut tower
There was a white Legacy turbo in a junkyard near by and I "acquired" the items mounted to the strut tower. Ill sell these super cheap assuming your join date is more than two weeks ago ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

This seems like an appropriate thread to ask - What are the cheapest spacers I can get? I only need two and pretty much any size will work (well not extremely thick ones)

Re: what normally goes wrong on turbo 4EAT
BRY dammit my mistake. I misread your post as saying phase 2 transmission and not second generation legacy. It is "common knowledge" that all Legacy/Forester/Impreza/SVX transmissions from 89-98 or so are almost the same. They changed internals over the years so the later transmissions are...

Re: Lots-O-Wheel Spin in 4WD on my 94LS
It sounds like your center diff is no longer working. I assume you dont have an LSD and if so jack up the entire drivers side of the car and have a helper with you. put the car in 1 and let the wheels spin while using the parking brake to stop the rear wheels. If the front is still spinning... yeah
