But it's maroon..a very common color for Legacys of this vintage.....straight body....interior is the special Turbo style with sport seats....not leather but attractive with black cloth on sides and checked "houndstooth ...

Located in San Francisco Bay Area. Car has approx 125K miles.

Good rust free body, maroon color, all interior upholstery in great shape.

Yep, its got the "LSD" and "3.90" on the foil sticker....great.

It came from a car with only '80K miles and it's going to be for sale.

I've heard that only the '91 YM cars had LSD/s but I think Subaru changes models mid year.

What do you think about a car made in 6/90....the diff says "3.9" on it...but don't see anything about "LSD" on it.

Anyone know the differences between the torque converters for the turbo auto tranny vs. the NA version.

I bought a used tranny for a 92 turbo wagon...but it didn't come with the matching torque converter....I have one from a NA legacy.

I have a complete tranny, driveshaft, and rear diff....out of a 91 Legacy. I'll check the rear diff ratio....but, from our discussion here, they should all be 4.11 matching R&Ps.

Would prefer to find a tranny with a 3.9, but since I already have the set, ...the price is right.

A good turbo 4EAT seems really hard to find....in fact, ANY good 4EAT is hard to find....but chances are better from the NA cars.

Can I get away with one from a NA 92-94 Legacy?

Downloaded the parts catalogue and can see different part numbers for different years...but no info on which R&P each tranny has.

How did you determine that the 92-94s automatics have a 3.9 and 90-91s have 4.11 ??

I bought a nice Winestone 92 Turbo Wagon that has no tranny...nothing there at all.

It had an automatic....I assume with a 3.9 R&P.

Can I swap in a tranny from a NA Legacy? If so which year?
