okay, boss has a 'noid light that plugs into the injector harness, and there is no fire signal at that injector connector...

also, I know the NA motors are stamped EJ22 under the alternator, does the turbo motor have an EJ22T??

Okay, found out the pink tops are much different than the red or grey's... swapped injectors around,m replaced plugs, ohm'd wires, and got it running on all but #4. Checked compression, #1 is 157, #4 is 149, didn't check the other 2 since they were firing. Also tried swapping the injector connecters...

We just got a '93 Turbo Sedan in at the wrecking yard I work at. It runs but is missing on #1 & #4 cylinders, doesn't sound like a compression issue. I think the injectors are dead. Can I use non-turbo injectors just to make sure the motor is sound? I've got a couple of sets of red tops, and a s...

Schuck/Kragen/O'rielly, or almost any parts store should be able to get them... I put a set in my daughters Lego in Texas when I delivered it.

I wasn't talking about grounding the oin from the Duty C, but the signal lead that the switch will be in. Hoping to prevent the TCU throwing codes.

Anyone who has done the mod have the answer?

Just to confirm, the switch selects either the Duty C solenoid or ground, correct??

I only got an ABS unit from them, paid $110 (plus tax, of course). The only other one I could fins was over $300.... But I did price a few other parts from them and yeah, a little higher than most....

BUT, we digrest... What I'm looking is an idea of how far I may be able to push the Subie before it needs MAJOR work (engine rebuild/replacement, trans failure, etc...)

These things are like tanks and easy to work on, so as long as you keep up with her... As for the injector, what symptoms were being exhibited? I'm beginning to wonder about one of mine, but would be thankful for some experienced advice first. I've had one fail on the white wagon, 2 on the wife's b...
