the mirrors were either heated or folding. you couldn't get both. JDM got folding, euro-spec got heated, USDM got... ehm 2.2T :> Damn... But, when you get a set of both, you can combine those two and fix it up with the defroster! Or... Buy Legacy IV mirrors, that fold and are heated  Ben, ...

That's true, I know it's like that on most German cars.
But I just like all those OEM switches that tell me what they do exactly

Wow, I see this thread a bit late. I also never saw that switch  It's a pitty that those JDM cars have all those features and we don't. Here in Europe we do have heated seats in the 2.2 version and from 1993 all 4wd's had heated mirrors as well. I wonder how they combined that in Japan, becau...

I hate it that I can't argue with you in my own language. That makes it quite difficult for me. I didn't meant anything as a personal attack on you, please don't understand me wrong. I'm sorry, I can be a little hard sometimes. Understand, that I don't know the lightbeam that comes out of your plast...

Why do you think you know everything about HID? These sets are very decent kits. They cost around 300 dollars. My HID lights give the same result as the original halogeen lights. They measured them and adjusted them on the right height! I do NOT blind other people. They are JUST AS LEGAL as the halo...

Do you still want me to send an email??? I'm sure that there are several of these kits in the US. I don't understand why they would be illegal in the US. We follow very strict rules. And the light beam is OK for government :!: Not just in Holland, but also in Belgium, Germany, France, etc.etc. Ow an...

The interior does not come from an Outback. It's an original 1st gen interior.
In Germany they had the 2.2 with leather interior. So my interior is from a German Legacy ;)

And yes, my car is a Legacy. I think it's only called Liberty in Australia.

You driving around with them doesn't make it legal. Look up the local lighting regulations and see what it says. They are illegal in the US and Europe tends to have stricter lighting laws. Every car sold before January 1st 2007 can be fitted with these kind a HID kits. Our cars have to be checked o...

The install took about 1 hour/wheel. So 4 max. 5 hours for the whole kit.

And the streets are only brick paved in neighborhoods. Larger streets and roads are made of asphalt offcourse

Thx! That hitch isn't stock. The dealer shop can install when you buy the car. And overhere they allways make a hole in the rearbumper :( Glass headlights is difficult for me. My adjustment was broken, so I changed my headlights, but now I have one broken glass :( I can get another set off 2, but wi...

I'm running 215/45/17 tires. The wheels are 17x7.5, Offset 53
And yes, they rubbed at the rear, but after rolling the rear fenders it's ok.

And leather is quiet rare, good job!

On snow and gravel, it's worthless, OK, but on the road???

Overhere I never drive on gravel or snow, and I'm very happy with the antilock brake system that's on my 92 2.2 Legacy

But swapping the entire system will take about a week
