Thanks fur all the replies....
.....I was mystified by the absence of a screw-whatsis. My manual is a Haynes....whatever happened to the guy who wrote the idiot books? I had a fabulous one for my 86 Toyota pickup....it would have even told me how to use a bar of soap if it was necessary.

92 legacy wagon......replacing rear brake pads......manual says if you've got rear parking brake (i do), be careful to compress pistons only slightly with c-clamp or you will damage the piston screw.
