Re: FS: MO, 91' NA Auto Legacy Part Out and some 91 SS parts

do you have any idea if those rims will fit over 02 wrx brakes... thanks :) I could check, they really should, since the Sport Sedan brakes are quite heavy duty and they clear no prob. I've a buddy with an 02' WRX, I'll ask if we could trial fit a wheel on the front. ^.^ I do know they'll clear my ...

Re: FS: MO, 91' NA Auto Legacy Part Out and some 91 SS parts

Not that I'm a fan of ABS, but I would like to fix it in my car nonetheless. I could definitely use a new driver rear sensor. If you can find one, I'd also like the driver headlight and corner marker, and a tan passenger sun visor if you have one. Thanks. Hmm, I dont have the sensor, I have a left ...

Then I wish you were closer. LOL I live in the mountains of california (best place for the apocalypse). Do you know where the rebuild kit is available from? It runs fine right now, but i do notice it getting progressively worst. It's in line for major work once I finish the head gasket on my 85 Alf...

Re: FS: MO, 91' NA Auto Legacy Part Out and some 91 SS parts

How many miles? Any problems with the tires? Are those the ones pictured? I'd say there's about 7k to 8k miles on them, almost all highway. I slapped em on the Legacy right after I installed the torque converter last June and I've never had any problems at all. And yes, those pictured are the ones ...

Re: AT 4wd Transmission for a 91 legacy needed PLEASE.

When I first drove it after it sat a long time, was originally a parts car. I DID have a Solenoid code, but I changed the fluid and ran some flusher through it. I drove the last few thousand miles without any sort of code, I just figured the slow response was from varnish or a sticky valve... The co...

Re: AT 4wd Transmission for a 91 legacy needed PLEASE.

I have one, mine has a brand new Torque Converter and runs well after warmed up, but has a weak shift solonoid. It functions without fail and has for the entire time I've owned it, but Id suggest replacing it. I'd take $200 picked up *Northern Missouri*. *this is cheap for one of these* has 160,000 ...

Re: 94 LS part out.

Yeah, it's the sheet metal piece that uses two 10mm bolts and covers the bottom access to the torque converter bolts. I think it actually bolts on to the engine, but it's a cover panel for the torque converter. it's not the little rubber bit that goes on the top of the engine, but serves a similar p...

Re: Safari Legacy Build...

If you used marine-grade plywood, it'd work very well, but if you know fiberglass working, you could easily save weight and support something of any size by modifying a tonneau cover. The pass-through would take some time, but very doable.

Fyi, an O.E.M GL wagon roof rack will fit the sedan roof. I've done the measurments and its a tight fit but it will fit. Like a '89 or so wagon, I plan on adding one to my car and adding lights to one of the cross bars too. :) And I switched the fans to test them and its not the fan, its something ...

Re: Safari Legacy Build...

I was picturing the bamboo push bar more vertical and with the top bar even with the bottom of the headlights. You don't want to compromise the approach angle though. Pop-up tent roof might've been better in theory, also. There isn't a whole lot of 'living room' in a sedan to begin with. Especially...
