Car shuts off temporarily...

My friend re-wired his amp and we built a new sub enclosure for his volvo. Now, when going over bumps the car shuts off for about a second at a time, but then it kicks back on. Does anyone know what this problem could be? Maybe alternator, new battery? Could the ground wire for the amp be affecting ...

Sunroof stuck open

My sunroof is stuck open, its not completely open, its just to the point where it's about to be open. My button never works, but my dad tried to open it, and it has been stuck that way for 2 weeks. Any advice on closing it? PLEASE HELP! :!: :!:

My check engine light came on today and the car hesitates at a stand still...could it be my O2 sensor? I have 202,225 miles.

Window and Lock problems..

I'm having problems with my window & lock buttons. My passenger window button on my drivers side is kind of stuck and it wont row the window up, but it rows it down. It looks as if its sitting lower than the other buttons. And one day, my automatic locks stopped working. What do you think that c...

Flitz

I've been seeing these commercials about this Flitz thing. It supposedly gets rid of oxidation. I was wondering has anyone used this on their oxidized head lamps? (don't know if this has already been posted)

Sanding my Fittipaldi's...

I was wondering about this last night. My Fittipaldi's are old (were put on when first owner bought the car!), and they have black spots on various places. It's like the clear coat on the wheel came off, or someone didn't just wash it enough. No you think I would be able to wet sand it with a 4000 g...

Foggy windows...on the inside

My windows tend to get foggy fairly easy. All the windows fog up in the inside, and my blowers can't clear then up too quickly. Would the problem with my sunroof leaking cause this, or could it be something else???

Heater shuts on and off sparatically

Well, i've had this problem for a long time. My heater only works 30% of the time, and when it does, the air flow isn't strong. Sometimes it comes on, but it'll shut off by itself and won't come back on. It takes forever for my defrost to actually defrost the windows. Does anyone know what this coul...

Yeah, i can smeel exhaust sometimes inside the car, and can usually smell the radiator fluid. I'm taking it to the dealer saturday to get everything checked out, so I can find everything wrong with it.

Actually, it was foaming and perculating! My temp. gauge is normal, no adnormalities there. But, the foaming and perculating definately describes what was going on in there. I hope it's not too serious!

Water in reservoir tank boiling!

I noticed my car was making a weird noise, so I added some more water to the reservoir. The noise was gone, but after taking it on the highway for about 20 minutes, I came home and opened the hood to find that the water was boiling! Has anyone ever had this experience? Also, radiator fluid was spewi...

The best kill i've had was against a 94 Saab 900S 2.3 liter turbo. Me and my friend were just messing around at the light, and he reved his engine at me (he has full cat-back exhaust, and a k&n filter). We went for it, and of cource my non-turbo legacy killed him (mind that I only have a k&n...

Thanks. I just bought a little 'stubby' antenna to put in its place. I dont intend on using the motor anyway because it's been broken for quite some time :? . But some pics would be nice.

Actually, it's broke, the motor went out on it quite some time ago. But I still want to get it off because i'm putting in a new one. I'll probably end up having it done professionally.

How to get the stock antenna off..

Does anyone know how or have any tips on how to get the stock antenna off? Personally, i think it's ugly. I have a sunroof so it's on the back drivers side by the trunk lid. I was thinking about putting a flexible antenna on, so I need to know how to take this one off.

My alternator belt is squeeling

My alternator belt squeels when i turn the car on, and when i hit the brake it also squeels :( . Is this normal? Also when i hit about 3000 r.p.m.'s, my engine starts to make a clicking noise. I tightened all the bolts and nuts around the alternator and belt, but it still squeels. Do you think I nee...
