94 awd to 93 fwd exhaust compatibility

I'm driving a 93 fwd at and the exhaust has no cat converter and is welded together in places-too loud and rattles. I have a complete exhaust system from manifold to tail pipe off my 94 awd that I totaled in a rollover. My question is ; how much of the 94 system can I install on the 93. thx

emrgency headlight wiring

My daughters 86 buick lost all headlights on a trip to see us so now I am wondering: on my 93 legacy if I lost all headligthts is there a way to wire the lights directly to the battery or elsewhere if a switch or whatever crapped out in the middle of nowhere.

iac question-re: rough idle

I've just transplanted my good 2.2 engine from my 94 awd that I rolled into a 93fwd, AT. the engine has 160,000 on it and the recipient car has over 280,00 on it, probably the traany too.. one problem i have is after the car is warmed up, when you come to a stop the idle decreases to about 400-500 a...

changed coolant temp sensor, check engine light back on

Had a check engine light- dealer scanned and said coolant temp sensor no good-confirmed by the fact that it was hard to start and fans were always on even when car was cold. Put in new sensor, pulled the ecu fuse, waited a while, put it back in and car was okay for about 50 klm-now light back on-any...

thx for reply, just a further note-it is an automatic and the noise only seems to happenwhen you acclerate in reverse, not when just going in reverse at an idle. the reason I asked about using an awd tranny is because I have a perfectly good one from the other car if this fwd tranny is no good. When...

noise when accelerating in reverse

got my 93 fwd back from garage where I got the engine from my 94 put into it. Seems to drive okay in forward gears. when you put in reverse and give it some gas there is a noise like that is speed sensitive seeming to come out of the tranny. sounds like a metallic rumble, rattle. engine swap-speedo not working

Just swapped an engine from my totalled 94 awd into a 93 fwd. the speedo and odometer do'nt work.what should I check first. I would rather try to fix myself rather than bring back to the garage that did the swap as I had a fight with them over the bill ($1500.00) for the swap. thx
