Yeah, if you really wanted to you could take them to Doc Injector. I did when I was having problems and he had them done in about an hour and it was like $95 with tax.

Dan, what if you used a 90* silicone piece on the IC inlet and connect that to the straight hard pipe from the turbo outlet? That way it would allow for a little more flex room around the headlight. Although, it might actually get squeezed a bit, which would negate the 3" piping all the way thr...

If you're really going to be making that much power, I'd get a 6 speed from an STi or a Legacy Spec B.

And the chip is mapped for a .6 bar wastegate (for the VF39), so I requested to have a .6 bar spring with the MV-S.

Pink sidefeed = 370cc

Dark grey sidefeed = 440cc

Yellow sidefeed = ~550cc

So how does the car run with a 0 map?
JDM yellow sidefeeds are 480cc. So you need to verify where your injectors came from.

Uno mas questions: When you have a MBC setup on an IWG, you usually get varying boost levels in different gears (at least that's what me and a few friends have experienced). I.e. 15 PSI in 2nd gear, but 17 PSI in 3rd gear. Will this still happen on an EWG? Or is the cause for the varying pressures d...

Hahaha +1. The only reason dealer hoses are 'better' is because they're molded.

I'd also print out the vacuum hose diagram that's stickied to the top of this sub-forum, that way you can use the correct sizes where they need to be.

Ok, once I get everything installed, I'm going to set it up in the "bleed" method, just because I can use the existing hoses to get it up and running as quickly as possible. If it works fine, then great. If not, I'll try the 'interrupt' method and pray that switching the stock intake and W...

Forgive me, but what style is the "interrupt" style? Judging by the name, I would assume it's: Compressor nipple ---> MBC ---> Bottom Port of EWG If that's it, then I should be able to just use the stock solenoid in the stock vacuum line configuration, like this: http://i34.tinypic.com/2ju...

+1. You can't beat $55 shipped to your door for a piece that has one less mounting point, but still probably does the job just as well.

Your car probably hits fuel cut by the time you hit 15 PSI. The car 'initiates' its fuel cut countdown at 13 PSI, and if 13+ PSI is held for more than 3 seconds THEN you experience fuel cut. So what's probably happening is you start boosting, you hit 13 PSI and the fuel cut countdown begins, three s...

Interesting. So even though the BCS wasn't at 100% duty cycle, it still alleviated enough pressure on the top port to allow the WG to open? Do you see any problems with just running the IWG line to the bottom of the EWG and leaving the top port vented? From what I've read, that would work, but it wo...

Sounds like ticking injectors to me, but it's hard to tell without having your ear next to the source. If it's not your injectors then it would be a very slightly deflated lifter.

I'm more inclined to lean towards injector noise.

Ah shoot! Good point, Dan! Thanks for catching that. So maybe what I'll do is run line K to the bottom port of the EWG and leave lines L/M and J in their stock configuration and just leave the top port of the EWG VTA.

Do you think there would be any problem with leaving the top port VTA?
