I should add i replaced my valve cover seals and bled my HLA's at the same time i did the uppipe to turbo and turbo to downpipe gaskets. I had this same problem where no matter what i did it would still run better (though a bit rich) with the o2 unplugged. Even after i bought a 4 wire and hooked it up. What do u mean by the manifold side? Looking at the turbo theres no leaks exteriorly. The downpipe side or so call manfiold side is dry. I pull the charge pipe, and intake to inspect for oil. LOL, funny funny funny. Your right it was the MAF sensor. I never knew subarus had so many sensors that were important to the engine's functions.
