I should be stopping by the shop today and should be able to snap a few more shots. Up pipe and down pipe are custom made, same with the inter cooler pipes.

Re: Kevin's swapped L sedan, 550 robtune, td06 20g

hmmm, interesting. this center diff locker assembly, what makes it better then the original center diff that was in the3.90?

I thought most (not all) of the 3.90, 4.11, and 4.44 had locked center diffs at 50/50 power front to rear?

Re: Kevin's swapped L sedan, 550 robtune, td06 20g

ooo those teeth are nice and shinny. :) Im really interested to see how my car will act with the 3.90 final, I've always ran a 4.11. really loved the 4.11 for helping the motor with the mechanical leverage. my buddys mkiv supra had a hard time catching me till I was high up in fourth. supra had 450w...

yah motors can be expensive to keep fixing, same with the transmission. So far I've been lucky not to destroy a motor.
but ill be really lucky if my tranny lasts after the first pull.

Re: Front mount VS TOP mount

A front mount requres alot of work and should only be done if your shooting for some good high numbers or are just dedicated enough to build one your self. the kits online for the 2.5 RS might fit "ok" but if you really want it to look good and not have 900 couplers, take the time to make ...

Re: Larger turbo.. GT35

Garrett turbo's are actually quite simple to understand compared to other types of turbo company's. but if turbo's are new to anyone it can seem like a mess of numbers. Yes sir I do have a build thread: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=35651 My progress with my car has slowed si...

Re: Larger turbo.. GT35

Well, I'm pretty disappointed in the turbo that came in the mail. The seller stated and I quote "Turbo has very little shaft play". To my dismay he was full of s***. It needs a rebuild. It was also damaged during transit, the comp housing inlet has a spot that's bent. But any who I looked ...

Re: My radiator hose is flat

my 97 Outback has this same issue. So far I have not had an issue with it. the head gaskets are new and same with the radiator but the cap is old. I figured it was happening because the heads on this motor are off the original motor that had over heating issues so I think the heads are warped. I hav...

Re: EJ22e sudden loss of boost at 5500rpm

If you motor is getting a source of air after the MAF sensor it will cause massive power issues along with the engine dying.

it almost sounds like you hitting boost cut... do you have a defender against it cutting out from higher boost levels?

Re: Larger turbo.. GT35

Ya it's getting up there in turbo size. For a four banger it's a nice size. For power yes it will make a good amount. The heads I will be installing a set of cams Along with springs and retainers from GSC. The bottom end of my motor is already built and I'm running a stand alone engine management. M...
