like the title say, i want to purchase a good condition legacy turbo automatic transmission. Prefer something with low mileage! Has to be in tristate, cause im going to pick it up! im not trying to spent toooooo much... so if u have auto turbo legacy and u did ur manual swap.. hit me ...

why not manual?

hmm it is because the on way to work and on the way back from work there is always mild to heavy traffic ... i just want to be lazy on the way there and back..

thats not good, what is so not different about the newer tranny. i have tried searching, and i got both answer about the newer WILL and WONT fit.. i dunno which post to follow..

the legacy tranny is going.... from stop and hit the gas.. it would go and it wont go into next gear at very high rpm ...

yes i know the rear end on the legacy is 3.9 and the fd on the auto trans is 4.44..

so no issue with the TC? everyhting should bolt right up?
the TCU.. can i short the signal that tell the tranny go into power mode on the legacy, since the NA impreza doesnt have any powermode.. what other wire ...

i been searching the threads and i only get early models and svx..
and i have read that the newer impreza 00+ auto tranny are and arent compatible with the 93 turbo legacy. I dont want to conver tinto manual cause it is a daily driver, and beside i have my turbo RS to have fun in ..

SO Im asking ...

i dont want to upgrade or anything.. i just want iit replace since my pedal is still super soft!!

so brake booster?? cause it seems like it.. any other sugestions

What haveyou done to your brake system lately, did you bench bleed your mastercylinder when you replaced it?

Dont ask me why I know this but if you replaced the calapers make sure they are on the correct sides of the car! :lol: and if your wheel baring is bad enough to cause it to push your ...

2 guesses...

1) Seems like your feeling the mush from the brake booster since it's when the car is on.

2) If it's occuring (ie; double pump required) when driving I'd suspect a wheel bearing is shot, most likely a front. This allows the hub/rotor/wheel assembly to wobble and push the pistons back ...
