Love to see the old WRC footage. Classic Subaru, Mitsu, Toyota, etc. turbo AWD models. Very nice!

Has anyone tried running this scan tool with the discrete converter cable listed on the VWRX website? I've got a few NDS355AN transistors on order and will be finishing the cable once those come in. It seems the MAX232/3-based cable works, but I'd like some feedback from those that may have built th...

An interesting thing to note here though, our NA injectors are supposed to flow 270cc/min right? Well if you look at Joshs flow testing on 92-94 NA injectors they do flow 270cc/min: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?p=119391#119391 at 43psi. Maybe we've been wrong about the static pressure...

Or you have to do this: http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q68/saethreehondas/April18011.jpg For those brass fittings, which is oil and which is coolant? I'm assuming that the open, unplugged threaded port on the top of the head is the oil feed and the brass fitting pointing straight up is the oil ...

1G DSM blow-off valves are great stock pieces. They've been known to hold 30+ psi of boost in semi-modded form. If interested, I can post up how to do this. As for yours, there are some simple tests to do to see if it's still in functioning form. Hook up a vacuum pump to the nipple and introduce vac...

That's what I'm trying to get at, the pressure they were tested at. If the injectors were sent to a shop to have them cleaned and flowed they were probably at 43.5 psi, but I'd like some confirmation on that.

Anyone know if this flow rate was tested and verified at the industry standard of 43.5 psi (3 bar) fuel pressure, or at the stock Subaru fuel pressure of 36.3 psi (2.5 bar)?

Re: My NEW $167.50 Garret GT30(32)(35)....?

It was $202.50 shipped.... Brand new! How'd you end up scoring it for that cheap? Is there any axial or radial shaft play? I'd be concerned about either shaft play or leaking seals if it was that inexpensive. But, good deals do come along every once in a while... The inducer is 57 mm...The turbo wh...

A lot of subaru guys install the walbro 255 pumps without any problems. Wow, quite different than in the DSM world then! Anything more than ~200 lph and the stock 4G63T FPR is overrun. Base pressure goes through the roof and as boost rises fuel pressure is far from linear. Throws the closed-loop fu...

The threads indicate what the fuel pressure is at idle with and without the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line hooked up. I understand what the two threads are covering. My concern is what the fuel pressure should be for a turbo car/ECU with the vacuum line disconnected. Per the factory manual, it...

Standard pressure is 2.5 bar over manifold pressure. So roughly 36 psi with the hose disconnected, and roughly 26 psi with it connected at idle. In doing some searching for the stock fuel pressure I've come across a few dissenting opinions on the stock pressure numbers. Some say 36.5 psi while othe...
