if the wheels have tires mounted on them, take 3x5 note cards and slip them between the tire and bead of the rim. sand down with 80 grit and go up to 150 if you'd like. Set down a few coats of primer, and a few coats of color, then like 5 coats of clear. Take your time, it'll be worth it. I've paint...

The typical ones you see for sale everywhere are just an empty can. No baffles, no filtration, so it's basically whatever gets caught in there might stay, or it may get sucked right through to the intake like it normally would have. 2hp gain on an RX7 by putting a catch can on? that's bs. 2hp is wel...

there are a few different ones out there that employ the same design and are around $100. It would be worthwhile to spend a bit more on something that actually works is all im trying to say.

In my own personal experience, those don't work good at all. I had one like that, and a GReddy catch can (the old square one) and neither worked well at all. They would catch some oil vapors, but they didn't pull the water out like they should. If you're going to buy a catch can, make it a one-time ...

I'm with RJ93SS. Not to mention stainless would look great and stay looking great. That will permanently stain if you don't keep cleaning it. There aren't any solutions to prevent it from happening that will be low profile, just something like this: http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/wm.php/images/g...

I'd totally be down for a NE meet with a decent turnout, especially one with older legacies. I went to a s...

You should probably have wagon suspension considering the extra heft, but I doubt it will be a big deal. I've got 02 WRX Wagon struts and whiteline flatout wrx wagon springs on my winter car and it's one of the best riding lowered cars I've ever driven/ridden in. The damping on the WRX struts is a h...

EvolutionMovement: No, you're correct. That's the only issue I have with this chassis subaru... I do bottom out the front struts a little more than I'd like, but I don't want to go with stiffer springs. ForestPearl: I agree 100% with you. My opinion of "amazing" is flat around corners, not...

The emissions laws are changing. I apologize, I thought they already changed, but as of October 1, 2008 all OBD-I vehicles are exempt from the emissions test. No more dyno, no more rev-test for AWD vehicles. The only Mass state inspection they must undergo is a safety inspection. OBD-II vehicles sim...

Congrats! I finally got a bike of my own this year, 2006 Honda RC51. I love it. Everyone will tell you that you will die and it's a death wish, but you gotta take risks in life and as long as you're looking out for you on the road, you'll be fine. Just remember that , though. If you're not looking o...

Mine is lowered about 3" on Tein Coilovers and when I had it aligned after the fact , I opted for a bit of negative camber, but otherwise it lined up right with factory specs. Despite what everyone says, this car really handles amazingly. I just did a 350mi round trip up to Vermont where I spen...

Anybody ever tinker with the idea of individual throttle bodies? I got way sidetracked on youtube and came across some videos of some v-dubs that made me think. These guys had some Weber DCOE 45's on their little 2.0L and they made pretty good power, and a lovely noise. I thought about doing that to...

Yazmo: If those are for a BG5 they will work. You will need GC8 rear strut tops and they will bolt right up.

I have BG5 Tein Wagon coilovers on my Subie.

Both my 94's get filled when the trip hits 320mi unless the low fuel light comes on. Its worked out to an average of 24-26mpg pretty consistently. I've gotten as good as 360 miles to a single tank in my white car. I drive about 75 miles per day, 90% highway. For whatever reason, quite a few times I ...
