My winterbeater is a '95 Audi 90. I also own a Durango, and that is unfortunatly what I make payments on. I can't wait til that is over with, cuz then its gone! I have a 94 maxima SE that is race only. I dig the 3rd gen Maximas about as much as I like the Legacies. 190hp from the factory, stock LSD,...

I found this on youtube. I do not know who made this, but my legacy is in this mess somewhere. I was in 4th for the first half of the race got pushed all the way back to 13th(out of 30) with like 4 laps to go. It was the cars 3rd time out this summer. Regardless this should give anyone an idea of th...

Better late than never. Season championships up next weekend. This car cooks now. Will make a good run next year for sure now that I've figured it out. Got a few more upgrades for next year and its good to go. Thanks for a ton of help from numerous people on this board. I built this car 75% from thi...

I have a 95 BD legacy. I fit a front bar for a 94-01 impreza on no problem. I bought a rear bar for an 02-06 WRX and it fit, although I had to cut away about 3/4 of an inch of sheet metal behind the backseat area next to each strut in order for it to clear. These are eBay cheapsters too mind you, so...

i just put one in my 95 and it is a very tight fit. But honestly I think it made a world of difference(not surprising) for what I am using it for. Plus you can't beat the price. I picked up a couple of the B9 bushings as well for cheap and just trimmed the hell out of them. Huge upgrade.

"suspension must stay OEM for the make and model". So as long as its from a Legacy I guess I can use it. And I am. They let us use strut bars. We get tech'd before the first race and then any time we come in the top 3. I havent done real well so far, so I just keep cheating it up more ever...

Broken rear driver spring. Brand new oem. 30 miles old. Busted up in the seating with a nice nice crack. I didnt even catch it until i pulled it out last nite. Not sure how or why it happened. or even when. I don't know how I could have missed putting in a spring that was damaged to begin with only ...

No, this is a pretty basic class. I have a celica(that im much more familiar with) that I run a more "open" class at a different track where I am free to make more non-stock adjustments and I have hoosier recaps on those with coilovers and such. We have to use street tires that are at leas...

well after rain out after rain out, I finally got out on a double points double length race. Came in a respectable 18th out of 28. I say respectable because it was the cars first time going and my first time in a front wheel drive subaru. There are issues with the rear suspension(see the suspension ...

i'm toed in 1/16th but with the stock rubber bushings thats gunna flex some. So that may have some to do with it, you are right. Maybe some polyeurothanes maybe be needed if the bars don't help enough on their own. All of the rear bushings had been replaced, as well as the rear bar by a previous own...

jamal thank you as well. Two replies in 15 minutes. This joint rocks. I have access to a 2.5 lsi wreck for free, I will have to bring my micrometers, maybe that will have a thicker bar too? I'm glad to see I have some options at least. Thanks again!!!

DLC, that was the fastest reply Ive ever had. Now you see why I love this place. I will look harder for the strut brace. I dont want to spam up 3 replies on Nasioc just to ask a question today. My problem isnt oversteer, its rear flex for sure. The front is tight, the rear wants to kick around. I do...

rear suspension on a '95

sorry guys, i know this is a pre-95 board for the most part. However I have found this place to be great so bare with me please. Two simple Q's really. Is there a rear strut bar available for a 95 sedan? Second, is there a larger diameter sway bar that will bolt up available? I have searched this bo...

this is probably more common than what others have written but, the '95 i race is a "vin 6" which means it has a 90-94 ej22 sorta. It has factory similarities of both 94 and 95 cars. I.E. no egr valve, but does have a knock sensor and diamond coil and stuff like that.

I was a DNS on memorial day. One of the first things I did was put a new clutch in and the car was fine until raceday. Car started slipping bad in warmup. So, I trailered it for the day, obviously. I have the car on stands right now, waiting on a 2nd flywheel. I bought one off eBay originally that d...

Celicas are where I come from. 22 series motors are the most indestructable 4 bangers ever made in my opinion. Bulletproof. Although my cars all had a newer 3sge in them(almost as good). but thats my past. I received my koyo radiator for the legacy today. By the way 206er I have a brother who works ...

i cannot lower the car at all(which sucks), and the struts must remain oem "type". That basically allows me to put in any non-adjustable strut i choose. I have read varying opinions on them in this forum allready. The stock ones are in horrible condition, so that will probably be the first...

Was yours a gen1 or gen2? the track this car will drive at is a 3/8 asphalt. its "high banked" although i'm not sure of the degree. they are steep. i find that tightening any car up real good helps with the front rights, somewhat anyways. Body roll is the worst thing to have to overcome es...
