Nice info! I've been playing with my OBS-t & Little scoot lately... I may do the above turbo line-up with a VF11, TD04 90*, TD04L JDM, IHI VF30, TD05-16G 90*, & TD06-20G. The VF39 does NOT flow as much CFM as the TD05-16G, it is nice compromise between the 2 TD series turbos though. A side b...

JDM straight inlet TD04L + JDM 90* inlet TD04

I recently got a straight inlet JDM TD04L off a 250 PS JDM WRX/Forester with NO shaft play that I'd like to sell for $200 picked up in NYC. I am willing to ship buyer pays shipping/p-pal fees (about $25). Search for the JDM TD04L on NASIOC & read up about how it performs. I also have a JDM 90* i...

Cool Write up.

Too bad I sold off all of my EJ20G ECUs :(.

Would using USDM coil/ignitors requirs less wiring (not that this is really alot of wiring) as I have a EJ20G in my SS?

I pulled 3 ej22t's apart recently & 1 (with just 117k) had a oil squirter in the oil pan.
So from my very limited experience it happened on 1/3 or 33% of the motors taken apart.

I think you may have it backwards. A little play side to side is not a big deal & some turbos will usually have a little play (Mitsubishi TD series Turbos usually have a little side to side / up/down play). In/out play is bad. It is possible to get a TD series turbo with NO shaft play - basicall...

It should not be too hard to do, but would be much eaiser to do on a straight inlet turbo with a clamped on 90* inlet. If you need custom work done to a turbo, a rebuild, or rebuild parts check out Gpopshop! They made my TD06-20g / TD05 hybird & clocked the outlet to mimic a WRX TD04. I'm thinki...

I noticed 2 pots out back are the knuckles ABS?

I'm gonna be doing a STi RA tranny / R180 Rear diff swap when I plop in the built motor & want ABS R180 rear knuckles.

The R180 Rear knuckles I have are non abs, just like the 2pot R180 knuckls I had.

Looks like a universal e-bay fmic kit cleanly installed on a car.
I like that there are not many connectors in the systen but I do not like the chopped up bumper beam.

I think the hose will feed the airbox which is pretty cool...

Funny I had one of these swaps & the TMIC looked smaller than a 02-05 WRX.
The TMIC looks like a EJ20R TMIC with a single turbo Y pipe.

A 02-05 WRX Y fits on both of the above TMICs (97-98 EJ20R, EJ20K/Gs)
