MY 92 L is a 16 gallon, and when it gets 3 gal and lower i can't accelerate fast or the pump can't pick up any fuel, and the car bogs down like a mofo.

Your wheel bearing is probably ok, but you will need to replace the cv joint (usually just replacing the whole axle).

I just noticed the same boot on mine broke , i've replaced the boot alone before, but i'm in need of a new joint this time too.

Some years have the same pump reservoir as ours, but different mounting points. But i am fairly certain that if the reservoir is different it won't mount w/o modification.

Maybe wheel bearings. Jack up the front and shake on your wheel, if it moves then you'll know they're bad for sure.

Sounds like you did almost exactly what setup a year or so ago, I used the same aluminum tubing you describe.

Worked well until the day when I drove through a foot or of water and it filled the tube, stretching it out and pushing it through the fender liner due to the weight

Most kits will modify the FPR vacum (well, my zex kit does anyway). I've only been able to run it a few times, but i liked what i got.
