rear diff options?
Right now I'm looking for options for replacing my rear diff, the previous owner messed up the rear diff (seized the drain and fill plugs and drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the cover with a siliconed bolt to plug the hole :x ) and it has been making noise for last 2 years. The diff noise became much mor...

Re: loosing secont gear when hot

Re: loosing secont gear when hot

That was a bad idea!
Yesterday I had a day off work and decided to put my legacy through is paces so I decided to make a run up the Sandias just to see how the car handles, the big problem is now I have a long list of improvements to the car. After the drive I realize that the car needs tires, brakes, bigger sway bars, ...

You can have the internals with the spider gears for $10 if that will fix it. Legacy Rally Guy, No more of those elbows for now. ac...

well the engines in and i finely got to test drive the car, although it seems the #1 injector took a crap so its only running on 3 cylinders, but with the exception of some lifter noise it and a missing cylinder it runs pretty good. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c385/m44offroad/P1130279.jpg http...

SUPRA TURB0! That sucks, getting a car on the lifts can become such a routine you get used to it and fail to notice stuff. I didn't notice those safety bolts until I tried to extend an arm extra far because I didn't have the car centered in the bay and got a loud CLANG. well, actually the tech was ...

Yesterday at work we got this reminder of how important safety is when working on cars. Thankfully the tech that was under the truck got out before it fell.
