Stock turbo and awic

I have a working stock turbo.
I also have an awic from a liberty, including rad, overflow tank, and pump. pm me an offer if you are interested in either. I am not looking to profit greatly from these, I just want an enthusiast to use them. Thanks, BillC

4eat free works(twin cities)

Hi everyone,
I have a working 4eat out of a 93 sport sedan. This tranny was pulled around 130xxx, and it had a tranny cooler since new.
It worked fine when pulled 4 or 5 years ago to install 5mt. I will not ship but it is free if you come pick it up in St Paul MN. Thanks BillC

I shortened the resevior with a bandsaw, but a hacksaw would work just fine. It is held on with hose clamp. I simply removed it,cut some off the bottom ,put it back on,and the bled the system.I have had no issues with the reduced fluid capacity and I drive the car 70+ miles a day. I also beat the cr...

That is indeed a samco hose for the y pipe, and it is a 02-05 wrx model. The black pipe is just a piece of exhuast pipe painted black.I dont remember the i.d-o.d. I made the adaptor for the b.o.v. I saw something very similar on e-bay after i finished. They only wanted 10 bucks for it,so if I would ...

Not the stock turbo. It is a tdo4 from a usdm wrx.Coolant tank had been relocated already from other intercooler installs. I did have to fabricate a fitting for the b.o.v. outlet. After I did that I saw bacically the same thing for sale on e-bay cheap. Vrg3 what resolution pictures work the b...

forester intercooler

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my latest project with the group because it worked out so well.I installed an intercooler from a forester xt onto my old sport sedan. It fits into the engine bay really nicely, it also sits directly under the scoop. I had to shorten the clutch m.c. but other than that ...

I did put the rear end on jack stands also. I did tilt the engine back to but I used the 2x4 method. I however ran into major problems today. Both ball joint pinch bolts in the steering knuckles broke off. The ball joints were wore as was the c.v boots. While taking the axles out of the knuckles in ...

I am doing my swap with a floor jack and jack stands.I had to put a 4" block of wood on my jack saddle in order to get the car high enough to slide the tranny out. My tranny jack saddle for my floor jack was too tall also, so my buddy and I manhandled the tranny out.The 4eat is a big, heavy pode...

It looks like I was a little to late in posting, but with my experience with the ej22t it sounds like your ecu is retarding timing due to detonation. You have probably got the updated knock sensor now(gray plug) and that solved most of your probs.I had similar problems in the past,I regret I didnt r...

It is on the drivers side top front area of the tranny.Locknut is 17mm(I think maybe19mm, its been awhile and its early)and adjuster is 10mm.It is a pain to reach with both wrenches, but you should adjust in small increments.Good luck BillC

I agree with Dave about going from 3" to 2.25".Think about a water main feeding into a garden hose. However, the stock downpipe seems oddly bent and it has a cat con built into it. It is also very heavy. I noticed a nice difference when I replaced the stock downpipe with a gently bent strai...

I installed a walbro and I am happy with it.It seems to pull a little harder ,but that is only my opinion as I have heard conflicting reports on the adequacy of the stock fuel pump also.I am running 13psi of intercooled boost.I still have the stock one.You can have it for shipping costs. It is just ...
