I know that Casper's offers a generic knock gauge that has the LED lights. It ties into the knock gauge. I guess I will go with something like that.

How did you strip the paint off of the wheels. My wheels are in very bad shape. I tried Air Craft striper but it did not work so well. The OE coating is very thick. I am going to sand blast my wheels and have them powder coated. I found a local powder coater that will coat all four for $150.00. I th...

What is a good knock gauge? What do you use to read K/R?

I was wondering what some good knock gauges are for my turbo Legacy? With all of my upgrades I would like to monitor the knock retard.

A good day in my shop working on my turbo Legacy!

I removed my down pipe and exhaust today. I will be fabing a 3" down pipe out of stainless mandrel exhaust bends. All of the bolts and nuts came off with ease. I can't believe not one bolt broke. I thought the area behind the turbo would be tight, but I found more than enough room for the 3&quo...

Shifter bushings for '92 turbo

I am going to replace my shifter bushings and was wondering where to purchase hardned shifter bushings? I was told that some of the local import part houses offer these bushings. I will check this on Monday.

Thanks,
CT

I was going to run the air duct from the fog lamp hole in the air dam. My car has block off caps, no lights. I was thinking 3" hose. I guess I will get a air/fuel gauge for now.

I was looking to enclose the open end K&N cone filter in a aluminum air box. The fresh air would be ducted in from the front air dam. I was thinking that the bottom end power would not suffer if the air filter was boxed like the OE unit?? I will get a new knock sensor. Do you guys use a A/F gaug...

New guy with questions about my '92 turbo sedan???

I purchased a very clean all stock '92 turbo sedan last week. The car has 90,000 miles on it at this time. One owner, lady driven. I have several questions about general mods and tune up. I love turbo cars and have three turbo Buicks, one '86 Grand National and two '87 turbo T Types. So I have some ...
