Re: 86 Subaru Leone

I'm gonna be the one to derail the conversation about Subarus and ask about that yellow M100 Lotus Elan in the background of one of those pictures ;-) I knew I couldn't have been the only one to notice that. Car is looking good, NICO. Of course the STi rack bolts right in to the GL10 crossmember (m...

Re: Spotted Thread

To the owner/driver of the post-facelift light blue turbo wagon on I5 SB through Hawk's Prairie/Olympia this afternoon: Your car looks really good on the road, especially with the hatch spoiler. But you're burning some oil.

Turbo chimenies

I have a couple turbo chimney sitting around that I'm not going to use, if anyone is looking for one. Motor in and COPs wired waste spark for now. What's the common wisdom regarding the center block vent on this type of build? https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48449216401_97e16d934a_n.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/48449374952_ec5fd28868_n.jpg Also doing this kinda Subaru-related thing: h...

Re: 20 years of Legacy Central

This was the first online community that I made myself a part of. Of all the others that I've browsed, and the few I've joined, it's still the best. I've recently let my last first gen go off to car heaven, but I'll likely never stop checking in here. It also seems that I can't go too long without a...

Had to pick up some timing cover pieces from the local P'n'P. I do have the dipstick tube for it, as well, but it needs a new o-ring.

Re: Show Off Your Wheels and Tires

What year WRX are those KYB’s made for, been looking around for some adjustable shocks that’ll fit STi springs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk '04-'05, I think. The KYB's I had were the GR2 model, which isn't adjustable. The AGX is, though. I've used them in the past and they're a good damper. I...

Since I don't have a build thread, or a car worth featuring in a build thread (hence the username), I figured I'd post some build pics here in the gallery. And considering how bad I am at painting any kind of mental picture with words, I'll let the 1000 word pictures do the talking. Enjoy; https://f...

GD KYB's w/ STi pink springs. Slightly lower than stock. Too much spring and/or not enough damper. Handles well, rides like garbage truck.

Yea the AWD mapping is why I was playing around in the Manual mode. It doesn’t slide around very well in normal. What does the “power” light on the dash represent to the left of the manual mode light? I can’t seem to figure out what would make it go on other than it turns on just for a moment on th...

Re: Tyler's Legacy SS.... under an impreza shell

That dual TB almost looks like something out of a Ford. I might have to subscribe to that magazine.

You considering a catch can? With as much time is spend in positive manifold pressure, it's probably a good idea.
