Hey boostjunkie - all the best for the next couple of days. Over here in the UK we rarely/never get any sort of weather like that so we'll be thinking/praying for you.

Let us know what happens.

I agree with many of the previous posts - this is the only bbs I check daily because (generally) there's a great bunch of friendly people on it. Like some of the others I can enjoy a 'devil's advocate' discussion and if I find something that I struggle to deal with, well I just ignore it and read so...

There are companies taking orders for grey imports into the UK already. Good thing Japan drives on the wrong side of the road too! :D

Just need to come up with a really substantial amount of money to get one :?

I like it! Prefer 5 doors though, so I'll stick with my Legacy for the time being. The new Legacy looks quite nice though...

Really? According to my 1992 sales brochure all the AWD Legacies have a variable split. Anyone more knowledgable confirm either way?

I reckon that putting a 22B spoiler on the roof of a wagon would be quite interesting. It would at least get your car pictured in the thread about taking Rice to a whole new level... :D

I totally agree - and if I ever get the bodywork sorted out the dash will be my next task... I'd prefer to have a US-style console but still with a DIN-size stereo and maybe three extra instruments in there - an analogue clock, oil-pressure and boost or something... 8)

Yeah, and it's a really cheap looking piece of kit - probably the worst thing about the UK cars. The buttons to the left are for the power antenna (broken...) and one marked 'bright'. You might assume (as I did) that this would dim or brighten the clock and you (like me) would be wrong! It actually ...

whats that orange thing sticking out of you stereo Nick? It's a spring-loaded drawer for the keycard. Long story short, there's a credit-card sized 'keycard' with a chip embedded in it which secures the stereo - no card, no sounds! Blaupunkt did them for a while in the mid-1990s over here, mainly a...

Yeah - best ever was when I was going home from college (about 2 miles) and just filled her up at a 24hour station. Kept driving right to the opposite coast of Scotland, found some FANTASTIC twisty single-track roads. Slept in the car for a few hours and then drove back the next day. Best £20 I ever...
