Re: 1993 subaru legacy ss interior carpet
VERY unlikely you can still by this new. You'll have to pull one out of '90-'94 NA/Turbo @ a Salvage/Wrecking yard. Sedan or Wagon will work depending on what all you need. You might get away w/the '95-'99, too. STI/WRX likely won't fit, but I don't know for a fact....but it might be close enough w/...

Hi,
Have you read the Revtronix thread.
It's been a few years, but I helped test this and used it before going to the RT EJ20G.

Re: 4EAT - Clutch drum NA vs Turbo compatability?
Hi, Good job on documenting the two. Have you tried the FWD fuse to confirm the Duty C is NOT working? If you put in the FWD fuse and it does nothing to the Torque Bind/TB, then it's the Duty C. IF the TB goes away w/the fuse it's mechanical and not the Duty C. I DID file down the grooves on my turb...

Re: Outback strut swap Q's
Hi,
Covered on here and other Subie forums for more info, but you'll HAVE to swap the REAR (only) top hats from your '93 onto the OB struts due to the different bolt pattern...which involves spring compressors and getting that top strut bolt off.

Don't know about the mid pipe but the mufflers are the same. I'd assume the mid pipe would be the same too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not true....as noted above. turbo piping is all bigger diameter, including the axle back+muffler. You 'could' possibly use a reducer fitting to mix-n-match ...

Decided not to do another NA-T (for now). Prices include $hipping. $75 EJ22T Sensors and Automatic trans dropping resistor (can be used for BCS on RT ECU's) >>I did NOT use these as they came w/a VF11 I bought off Ebait a few years back....but they look to be in great shape. http://i.imgur.com/PA0jZ...

PB sux...esp. since there was no warning - @ least that's what I read. if this site's software allowed Attaching images (like the USMB) that would be ideal, IMHO, but I doubt it supports it. Interior Panel Swaps Pre vs. Post-facelift
Will all 1st Gen(eration) interior panels/pieces interchange? '90-'91 = '92-'94? I know the EXTERIOR hood, fenders, etc won't but will the interiors swap? Looking @ a '93 w/the tan interior but it's not my fave (no offense-JC). If I make a trip to the PullnSave and I can just grab and go from any '9...

Do you know the history of the heads 100%? As in there's no chance the cams are wrong, etc?
And it's been awhile since I messed w/the DOHC, but there's an Intake and Exhaust Cam, but there' not left (driver's) or right (passenger), correct?

99.9% of the time I've had a Knock Sensor code w/other codes, I had to fix it first b4 addressing any others....it's easy and cheap....and frequently the KS code 'caused' the others....I don't know why.

Hi,
I don't have a direct answer, but recommend 'bleeding' all the HLA's before installing.

Re: Ej22t/Eg20g hybrid headgaskets??
Rob has a EJ22T+DOHC tune. Let him know your setup and he can help w/that low(er) CR.
and as noted, 20PSI depends on the turbo, but anything bigger than a TD05-16G may max out the MAF.

Use a Scotch-lock or similar connector ( I like the T-taps). DE-PIN the B48-5 from the ECU harness plug and connect the wire to the B48-21 w/the T-tap, Scotch-lok, etc. B48-21 needs to stay connected 'as is' so the ECU can use it. That help? Re: Maf causing robtune fuel cut at 6lbs?
So you didn't get a MAF code w/swapping MAFs? Car could run LEAN and blow up a piston>block>etc. Not a good idea. Try a different JECS/AUTECS - GREEN - label MAF only. They do fail. No other MAFs are scaled to run w/the Robtune. Rob was looking into the Nissan MAFs - Z32, but I wouldn't hold your br...
