I have two spare engines. One is going to be a monster one day and the other is sitting in storage somewhere. Both have knocking rods. If I'm not mistaken, Byers Imports in Columbus, Ohio has an EJ22T crate engine that they got when the turbos first came out. I guess they never had to replace any en...

I think my best time was a 15.6 with the stock turbo, saab intercooler, 12 psi, and an ACT clutch. My intercooler piping was ghetto and kept leaking. I got the time after I got everything tightened...well, for the most part. I later found out that my recirculating bosch bov was leaking hardcore. Wit...

I'm currently running an open valve. It doesn't reek of gas, nor does it idle horribly... idle isn't perfect though. I think it's running like this because I have a boost leak. When I was trying to install an oil pressure sender behind the alternator, I broke a nipple off the plastic hose that was i...

Do you have the completely aluminum one? On my setup, the bolt was removed that is located between the inlet and outlet and a copper piece of pipe was pounded in the hole. I sealed it with JB Weld and used that as a place to attach a hose to the bov. It seems to work alright. Sorry, don't have pics ...

New Search Option
Is there already a way to search for a post by the date in which it was posted? If not, I think it would be cool to have a Quick Search Button on the front page that will automatically search the last 100 posts made to the board. I really liked on the yahoo board how you could view the list of the p...

GT-Spec Header I'll answer my own question. Yes. There is a difference, using the stock uppipe will not leave a gap. I got the GT-Spec header on today and used the stock uppipe. Everything fit perfectly. I have found that my bottom end suffers just a bit. It takes just a wink longer for the turbo t...

How many people are running one of these on their cars? I hooked the series II up and everything apears to work except the Airflow Adjustment. I can't get my A/F ratios to change. I spent several hours with a friend adjusting the thing and measuring the ratio with a voltmeter. At full +50%, I think ...

Even though I already have the HKS filter in my posession, I'm not sure I want to put it on after I heard of some horror stories about pebbles busting through the foam and f***ing up some guys turbo and intercooler. I would think it is safe, but I can't put that scenerio aside. I'll have to think ab...

One thing to think about, my 1/4 time stayed the same when I first put on the 16G at the same boost...~12. Honestly, I don't think this turbo has started producing any real numbers at this boost. Once I put it up to ~16, I dropped about a second. It is hard to judge though because I had other small ...

I can't get anything to be very accurate. When I enter in the cars weight as 3300 lbs and desired 1/4 time at 14.4, which I have gotten, it says I have 278Hp...I wish. When I enter in the same weight and estimated Hp, which I believe is around 240, it says I should run a 15.1 at 97 mph. I only had a...
