Thanks for the info about the block. I thought the NA and T motors shared the same block. Looks don't matter, it's already got a home-brew paintjob. I might go through the SCCA rulebook for auto-x and maybe build for one particular class, or I might just go all out and not worry about being all that...

Considering building a track car, looking for suggestions.
So I've got a '90 Legacy L that I'm parting out and have been pondering what to do with the shell. I have always had an idea of building a Legacy auto-x/roadcourse car to have some fun with and now I have a shell to do it with. Unfortunatly though I have another car project to finish first and limit...

Where to post topic for build suggestions?
I'm wanting to start a thread to get suggestions for a track car build but there isn't a "general" forum that incompasess all areas of the car and from what I read, build journal threads can't get replies.
Thanks,
Brandon

Intercooler couplers and intake filter
I don't know if anyone can use these or not as they were being used on a different car but I no longer need them so I thought I'd try. And these are used, so they are a little dirty but in otherwise good shape. Contents: These first 8 appear to be from the same manufacturer- 4 x 2.75" 4 x 2&quo...

Are you talking about the piece right above the water pump? It appears to be made of aluminum and has several threaded holes and it is in the upper right corner of the block. If that's the one, then yeah, I have it. $20 shipped and its yours. $25 if you're in Canada. I can have it in the mail by tom...

I'm selling whatever I can off it. But since it is parked behind my garage at my apartment, I still need to be able to roll it around and my landlord wouldn't be too happy if I stripped the body panels off it. I was going to keep the shell but I don't think I want to now. If I do a Legacy project in...

It has a 92-94 bumper and fenders. I had to replace them but couldn't find a 90-91 in the junkyard. The plan for the moment is to part it out but keep it a rolling chassis and maybe swap in a turbo motor and AWD and turn it into an auto-x or track car. Just something purpose built for fun. Buy my pa...

1990 FWD Auto Legacy L part out
Car has about 142k miles on it. It ran just fine until a head gasket blew and I broke a head stud off in the block. Its FWD and automatic. I am looking to part out mainly just the engine, drivetrain parts and the interior but if you need something else just ask. I will ship everything except the blo...

Anyone interested in some KYB GR2s?
I am going to have to scrap my '90 Legacy L. About a year ago I installed a full set of KYB GR2s and would like to see if I can sell them before the car goes to the junkyard. I will sell them with springs and tophats. The rears are stock but the fronts have WRX springs and tophats. I would need a se...
