A lil off the subject but I recently had a bit of a problem with my Legacy, when I turned on the heater I could smell coolant and steam would come out of the vents. I'm guessing its the heater core, anyone else? Ciper you got a good heater core you want to sell?

I have used a tube bender for three years, it was a rotary draw mandrel bender, not the cheap rotary draws without the mandrel or the even cheaper crush bender. And every so often you will get wrinkles if your wiper die or pressure die or mandrel or speeds are not set correctly.

A cheap and effective way to go is to get a muffler shop to press bend a set of aluminized steel intercooler pipes for you and use silicone couplers. Many shops can do mandrel bends, and mandrel style bends (bends without wrinkles and a near constant radius but without the use of a mandrel) but that...

The cheapest way to get a downpipe flange would be to get a used eclipse downpipe for cheap btw. A year ago I would've just given you mine.

The best 16g on the market right now. You cant beat the price. You would need to modify the flange on your up pipe and maybe your downpipe but forced performance sells those too.

I had the same problem, I replaced the turbo and it turned out that the power steering pump was bad and it was leaking fluid that would drain to the back of the motor and burn on the downpipe. But power steering fluid has a very distinct smell that I should have noticed right away. My bad. Also I be...

I have a 1g BOV on my Talon, I just bought a stock wrx bov for the legacy, they are nearly identical. There are a lot of guys using uncrushed 1g bovs and they say there good till more than 20psi. You probably wont need to crush it if your only running around 15psi. There is a kit for the 1g bov that...

haha yeah, its pretty quick. I'd love to own one with a manual. I've been looking at these cars for some time. A year ago I drove a turbo sedan with a five speed and I liked it but couldn't come up with the 3k the guy wanted. I missed out on a sweet 92 SE-R that same month because the tax check hadn...

I think I'm just used to factory stereos that have a label on them with a wiring diagram, wiring up the speakers was a sinch. I think the biggest thing was getting it in there with the pocket and spacer I picked up so that there were no gaps, the stock stereo must be 1.5 din? not quite a double din....

What kind of scan tool do I need for my ODBI Legacy?

I need to pull some codes and I'm having a little trouble with the ecu. Maybe a picture of the plug I need to disconnect to get the MIL to flash.
Thanks for any help.
