What could I say that hasn't already been said. My first response was, "DAMN, that is a hot legacy." Well worth the sweat you put into it. One of the better looking Legacies I've seen. Definetely makes my top 3. Has everything I like, white car, GT wheels, turbo :D

I got another light today and immediately pulled over to check it on the side of the road. It was the 35 again, but was out when I pulled back onto the road and never turned on again and I have driven ~ 20 miles since then. Weird. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything though. I keep meaning to change ...

I've got my fingers crossed that the event will coincide with my college's Spring Break! If not it looks like I'm missing some school. And with Corona as the main sponsor it has to be good.

Ned help with a CEL

So I've been getting an intermittent CEL and finally got around to pulling the codes tonight. 11 -Crank Angle Sensor 35 - Canister Purge -- Solenoid valve inoperative 42 - Idle Switch == Abnormal voltage input from idle switch Here's my hopeful hypothesis. My timing belt is overdue for replacement. ...

WRC event in USA

I'll believe it when I see it. Anyhow, here's an article
http://www.theolympian.com/home/news/20 ... 6459.shtml
about it. There is also a topic on specialstage.com about this article. I don't see it happening though. Be cool if it did however.

I know my rally Legacy is going to be strictly Club Rally and Hill Climb. There are restriction in Production and Production GT of 11 years I believe but Open Class and G5 and G2 are unrestricted. Most people building a Legacy rally car are probably building their first car so won't be looking at Pr...

Goodtimes in Colorado has passenger and driver's side pick up windows as well as using Coleman's all-natural beef. That's the only fastfood I eat anymore. Better price and way better food than all the big chains so I'd be set.

I bought an old Supra and saved up enough for a WRX and raced that until I got an Escudo. Nothing else compares once you drive that car though. I still haven't played GT3 and was thinking about buying a PS2 until I borrowed an XBox and someone gave me a copy of Colin McRae Rally 3. Now no more XBox ...

I just had another idea from this. Ciper did some research on spring diameters for different models. We should put that in here too. I checked 1stsubaruparts.com and they list the same spring for 90-94 Legacies. But then again that doesn't mean that it is right.

Everywhere I've always looked has the front springs for FWD and AWD sedans using the same part number. Is that just a mistake or a shortcut they take and their is no telling what rate springs you'll end up with for the front. Anyone know if the back springs are interchangeable between FWD and AWD wi...

185/70R14 185 is the tread width in millimeters 70 stands for the percent of the width in sidewall height in mm So to get height: 1. Multiply 2* (185 * .70) and that will give you total height in mm. 2. Now take 14 in and multiply by 25.4 to get mm. 3. Add this number to the first and you have total...

In Denver when it snows, the plows and crowds of people driving on it usually get rid of all the fun stuff early morning. My first year living here (After moving from Wyoming where we had snow covered roads from Oct. to April) I would go out driving at 5 am before everyone ruined all the good snow. ...

There isn't any driving in the SCCA rally school though. In CO they try to coordinate it the day before a rallycross though so you can practice all the techniques if you want to though. I think rally schools like the European Rally Driving School are so expensive due to cost of facility (land in Flo...

I can't find any non-lwering springs. 1stsubaruparts.com has the springs for 44 each. I want to look further into the STI ones that say for rally and plan to contact MRT about any they may have. The ones listed in their catalog lower the vehicle.

Check out the tech articles at www.legacycentral.org Basically the EJ22T is the toughest engine Subaru has ever made. WRX guys drool over it because it has potential much, much higher than their EJ20T and more displacement. Closed deck is explained in one of the tech articles on there. Read that and...

Okay so I got the GR2s for my car this week. Now onto the Springs/Top Mount combo. For a FWD Legacy what options do I have that WILL NOT lower me? I haven't been able to find anything yet but sometimes it's hard when it comes to this issue. I know there are tapered and non-tapered but am curious if ...
