The Legacy SS has a 3.9:1 ratio. IIRC the Twin Turbo has a 4:11:1. 4:11 ratio rear diff are available here in the states on other models. However, your '91 most likely has a viscous limited slip differential, which most of us would not give up without a fight. Thanks! So the rear diff on the US 90-...

I was wanting to know if a 90-94 Legacy twin turbo transmission is a direct replacement for a 91 Legacy SS Turbo transmission, and is it any different?

My 2nd gear is gone and I'm in need of a working transmission or

I ran out of time yesterday so I only got the engine out, but next week I plan on cracking the transmission case to see what needs replacing.

I've tried searching the board first but I wasn't able to find the OBD-I connector location on the car by just looking or searching here.

(The car is a 1991 Turbo legacy sport sedan with 5MT)

The front seats in my 1991 Legacy sedan need replacing so I'm looking for either 93-01 Impreza RS seats or 95-01 Legacy leather seats for the car that are in good condition.

Are 90-94 NA and Turbo Lagacy power steering racks the same, and are their other model Subarus that have swappable power steering racks, or any that would be considered upgrades?
