Re: ej22t swap... Need help

Sorry about the rambling on. The wrx had a spun bearing. I pulled the engine and found the build couldve been done more thoroughly. Mainly the wrx heads not being cnc'd to the sti short block. So while im building the hybrid ej257 with wrx heads I wanted to drop my pretty close to stock ej22t into t...

I was editing my post when you replied, check the last part about checking the washer before just tightening the nut. Sorry for the stupid question, but where exactly is this cone washer located at. Most of my mechanical ability is in the engine department. Havent worked with suspension a whole lot...

Dont know. I had midas do the repair on the cv. I'll have to check it out. But at the same time it started doing this before and after the repair. But a good possibility considering i kinda live in a redneck town were everyone drives a big ass truck and knows nothing about subies.

Seems to fit the torque bind problem. other than its much worse. Shakes while driving straight. WOT doesnt help nor does light acceleration. Again i fixed the cv axle and that didnt fix my problem. Could it have something to do with the fact that i swapped the wheels? I swapped them back but problem...

I parked it for a little while cause i knew the axle was getting bad. Started just shortly before fixing. After the vibration started i had it fixed immediately. Fixing the cv axle did not fix the rubbing or vibration.

Bad shaking and rubbing noise from front end

Hey guys, sorry to post another thread but my problems seem to be a little different from the rest of the torque bind problems. Anyways, i have a 97 LGT 4eat. A few months ago I swapped the wheels from my 97 to my 93 ss 5mt. Before doing this I had a CV going out on the 97. Long story short. Fixed t...
