Re: Currently available struts, springs, and coilovers

I honestly don't know....but it may be more prevalent with wagons vs. sedans.

Re: Dyno on Stroked 2.2T

Very nice numbers and good data point on the various mods! With AWIC setups you shouldn't see that much of a change in air temperatures if your water temperatures aren't increasing because water can absorb more heat. This is one of the benefits of the AWIC setups. However, if you do get some air tem...

Re: Code 45 - Fuel Cut

If you check the code, clear the code, and then check the code again is the code that comes up code 45? If so, I would suggest checking the wiring on the MAP sensor and pressure exchange solenoid from the ECU plug to the sensor plugs and verify everything is ok. If all that checks out ok check the s...

Re: D Select gear dosent work (4EAT AWD 1992)

Can you elaborate on the issue some more? Is the issue the gear selector or that the transmission is not engaging those gears unless you put the gear selector in one of the positions 1, 2, or 3?

Re: engine crank won't start and Injectors won't pulse,

To check for a short which would cause the battery to drain you need a multi meter that measures amps. You would need to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and connect one end of the meter to the negative post on the batter and the other end of the meter to the negative battery chassis ...

Yeah, I have a stash of various parts and I'm hesitant to get rid of them because it's becoming more difficult to find things for these older cars.

Re: engine crank won't start and Injectors won't pulse,

Hi Mickael,

I would try and confirm that you have spark. Check more than one plug.

I would check the coil pack and ignitor using the instructions here:

Let us know what you find out.

Re: Larger Wheel and Tire Fitment thread

There is only so much room for larger wheels on these older cars. What I've seen people do is roll fenders to get more room on the outside and run coilovers to get more room on the inside. I'm not really sure what else you can do besides that.

Re: Motive Brake bleeder questions

How many bleeder screws are on the ABS module? Unless you know there is air in the ABS module I would probably suggest just bleeding the lines and the not ABS module.

Re: Larger Wheel and Tire Fitment thread

How much room do you have between the tire and strut? That distance should only change when the tire flexes under cornering or other loads.

I think there may be a conversion kit out there, but couldn't tell how much or if it would work for the ej22t. I know these are expensive but what about these? https://www.importimageracing.com/products/02j-00-0850-4-deatschwerks-side-feed-850cc-injectors-fits-select-subaru-models?currency=USD&v...

Re: Three wire speed sensors vs. two wire speed sensors

I haven't checked the voltage and it's been so long since I put it in I'd have to dig and double check things to see exactly how I did the wiring. Did your ECU have a configuration to adjust the digital input settings and to turn on/off the pull up resistor and adjust the active edge? My digital inp...

Re: Three wire speed sensors vs. two wire speed sensors

Looks pretty awesome! I'm guessing you need their ECU to use something like that right?

Can you elaborate on the 12v being too much as that's the proper voltage at least for the three wire sensor I'm using for my 6spd swap and electronic gauge cluster.
