Re: How to: install a 4 channel ECU

okay, so i got everything buttoned up and working almost perfectly, but something weird is going on with the 12v accessory wire that i hooked up. i spliced the yellow wire from the unit into what i believe is the correct ignition wire (red wire, ignition harness), but it only works correctly if the ...

Nice! thanks alot magicmike. figured you'd be the man to know. i'll give that a try. the directions that came with the unit are very limited because they want it installed professionally. they referred to adding a separate actuator, but the instructions were in a dealer manual. pretty lame. thanks a...

Keyless entry relay wiring

So I,ve been trying my best to get a Clarion K20 keyless entry system up and running, but I can't seem to get the actuator I added to run. I've have two relays hooked up to what i believe are the correct lock/unlock outputs from the unit, but nothing is happening. Here is the relay wiring diagram i ...

Megasquirt is my new found interest, specifically the DIYPNP. Sure there are some issues to be dealt with, but after reading (and by that I mean a lot of reading) it's promising. They now have sequential injection and enough proto area left over for our stock 3 wire IAC to run off of (my configurati...

f.s. 19mm fsb, boost gauge, 45 degree air box...etc.

have a few things i no longer have a use for, so...yeah here you go. first is a 19mm front sway bar off a n/a wagon with air suspension. used on my TW for a month or so, but it rubs on the turbo cross member and became irritating. made a very noticeable difference over the 18mm bar though. $45+shipp...

if your ecu is reset the cel should be flashing, if not, there is still an error in the system. the bcs is disabled due to excessive knock. if you've replaced the knock sensor with a totally new one i would check to see if there is an issue with the sensor wire downstream.

yeah i suppose you can't have it all in a budget build. i considered wiseco's but if im going there i may as well go all the way with a complete rebuild including new rods and bearings. thinner gaskets seems like they will work so long as i measure for piston to valve clearance. i think a .040"...

Thinner head gaskets?

okay i'm trying to do a super el cheapo engine build with a stock 22t shortblock and ej25d heads. i've searched to no avail and have two questions that i need answered. my first concern is compression ratio. i know with the stock head gaskets the compression comes in the low 7's. i would like at lea...

well i seem to lack the ability to read clearly because i went to the j/y, got some rails from a 90-91 na auto and came back to find that they are the exact same as yours, part numbers and all. so we've established that the rails you have are usdm 90-91 na autos. there were many 92-94 na's there wit...
