i ran into the same issue with a vf8 and came up with this... i ported the vf11 inlet to match the diameter of the vf8 intake. http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/jj237/mcklingler/IMAGE_0561.jpg then i made a bracket with some scrap aluminum and patients...yeah patients http://i273.photobucket.com/al...

Yeah I don't get why some people need to swing their dick around acting like their all knowing. Sure a mistake was made, but there's really no reason to be an arrogant asshole about it. This site is different from many others in the fact that it's a community where people help each other in a positi...

Jesus. There is no such thing as an 18R housing. Hate to admit it, but SemperGaurd seems to be right in this case. Here's a good page with all the model info. http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/catalogs/model_ihi.php?base=ihi&pagina=RHB5 P.S. there's no need to be such a jimmy hat about it all :ro...

I believe the vf10 has the same compressor side as a vf8, but a different hot side (18R). From what I've gathered the vf11 has a 15R hot side, vf10 has an 18R hot side and the vf8 has a 20R hot side.

damn dollar and it's weak sauce. oh well i took a look at shipping rates and it's pretty much double what the turbo would cost to ship it. :( looks like i'm back searching on the home-front. thanks for the thought though.

i saw that vf8 and it does look perty. i think the vf11 inlet would work on it and at 12800 yen or 125 bucks the price is right. i'm definitely keeping my eye on that one. :D

i really wouldn't be comfortable sending the money first as it is an auction and there's no telling what the final price will be. if you are able to find a good condition td05 and the final price plus international shipping is in the 200 dollar range, then you've got a guaranteed buyer.

i might be interested in a td05 for the right price. i like the idea of the vf8 as being somewhat of a middle ground between the td05 and a td04. i recently bought a great condition td04 from boostedballs and plan on using that for a summer project, but would like something bigger for daily driving.

rslc is definitely a great place to find them, but shipping could be a nightmare. i'm hoping someone has one here in the states. isn't the vf10 closer in size to a td04?

yeah i actually did the rear cam seal about 3 months ago, so it's most likely not that. i already got a 06 wrx ic and a td04 would be easier to mate to. they're fairly inexpensive and will do the job until i make the cash for a td05 and the resulting new transmission. ;-)

i cut the charge pipe with my saab setup and it worked great. if you cut it in the right place it gives you the perfect amount of room to clamp and the perfect angle to mate to the piping (2.25''). i had an extra charge pipe though, so it wasn't a no turning back thing.

i just checked and the knock sensor does have a grey connector, so it probably did just crap out. as for the boost issue i thought the turbo might be shot. i did see some smoke coming from it the other day, but put on the eye muffs and pretended it was nothing. i'm sure that the intake track is clea...
