Re: Best way to tackle wheel bearings
Sway bar bushing is good then they still seem to be intact. I reused the powersteering rack bushing and those were old as balls... As stated earlier they car would clunk turning right/ even the slightest right turn would cause a clunk. Now if I even move the wheel barely right itll clunk and you can...

Re: Best way to tackle wheel bearings
Its not a locking diff or anything just regular 5 speed. I mean at least i don't think it is, its not the 4.11 gears or whatever the awesome ones were.

Re: Best way to tackle wheel bearings
Hmm makes sense, everytime the wheel bearing goes bad in my s10 it gets wonky like that. I did reuse the rubber bushings for the power steering rack. So strut mounts means Top Hats? cause if your talking about the bottom part i just took all that apart all seemed fine. Guess ill start with the cheap...

Re: Best way to tackle wheel bearings
ill have to look at the end links but i do know the sway bar bushing are old as balls. It consistently pulls to the right even after all the work i did and the alignment.
Doest matter if its a hard right turn or just a slight right turn it clunks, so its not the axles they're both brand new.

Best way to tackle wheel bearings
So after an almost full front end over haul, I still have a clunk feeling on the front passenger side while turning right. Replaces both axles, Power steering rack, tie rods, motor mounts, tranny mount and a alignment. It either a wheel bearing or the front diff is going tits up. Im not sure but ill...

Best place for an alignment in tacoma?
After replacing my whole steering rack, front axles, tie rod ends, motor mounts, tranny mount. I am in need of an alignment pretty bad. I tried to line everything up best i could but I'm not an expert so the wheel indicates I'm turning left while going straight. I dont wanna pay out the ass for one ...

dumb dash board lights
So my wifes SS is having some dumb issues with dash board lights. The speedometer side of her cluster won't light up even after new bulbs were put in. I checked all the fuses and such but am stumped to far.
Anyone have any similar problems?

Got a tie rod end question
Hey guys ripped my power steering rack out because of how bad it was leaking, and noticed that the tie rods on the old rack have like a lock nut on the end of the rod to keep it from threading on further. Do i need that nut or is it a preference type thing? Ill have to buy new ones because tho old o...

Still randomly throws knock code it needs a new wire completely and i still have no idea how to do tha...

Re: Knock problems
I've never ran a new wire like that before but I'm sure the car being as old as it is probably needs a new one. Doing something like that isn't very hard id imagine.
