Driving

I agree with you about the Subaru Diesels and the progress of the diesel itself, I enjoy them at the Grand Prix here at Mosport in Canada. As well as seeing them proform in OffShore racing events. However, if you are going to compare Clarkson's diving with yours...fine. Leave me out of it. You never...

Clarkson

Clarkson has some really good points that he brings out, however the fact of his driving might be brought in to question in light of the over drama of the Caparo that he drove. He couldn't handle the car, however the Stig seem to do quite well. Clarkson can whip down the tarmac fine enough (straight...

I'm intrested as well, I don't know what the stock Turbo Legacy's run at their differant loads. But I sure would like somefeed back from you. I'm all Motec now so it easy for me to tune about differant test engines, Including my Ver4 STI in my road car.

Funny enough I'm going to use his car for testing, Shh don't tell him :-D Beacuse I don't run a MAF sensor anymore his car is the perfect candidate.

I stand corrected, today I went in for steel winter rims, I'm running 225 wide winter tires. The rims they brought out are for a WRX car, they are 6.5 " wide. I questioned this as to why are they not at least seven inches wide. So they checked their book for tire mount limits, and 225 tire is t...

My 16" rims aren't 6.5" wide. I think they are 7.5 wide. I don't remember. They fit just fine

I'm new as well, I do have some picks I will post later. I have a 92 Legacy that has gone thru a few experimental motors of sorts. It's now home to a Ver4 STI Swap with 4:44 Diffs. I run a M48 Motec engine management system in it. 3" exhaust front to back and AP Racing down links. STI lateral l...

I know this is an old post but it's something I've tried over the winter when i was bored the plastic one will run just fine, if you left you boost levels stock. However, i prefer the aluminum one because you can modify it so that you can richen your injectors and run higher boost levels. The plasti...

If you get some older STI rims and mount 235/40-17 on it you will have no fender mods to do, on stock 92-94 suspension.

Your camber however will have to be neutral or zero.

Works for me.

225/50-16's mounted on 2000 Legacy GT rims is what I run during the summer.

Not that anybody else's timing matters to my engine, however Im doing an experiment and would like to know. For example my timing compared to my (old) stock 2.2l engine, my STI setup runs wickedly advanced timing. There's nothing about about my 92 SS Leggy that is remotely stock other that paint and...

I'm running a VF 24 Turbo, with electronic boost control. At full throttle it's set to boost at 20psi between 3200-4500rpm.

Injectors

Actually you can mod the pink Turbo Injectors it's done all the time. But don't let anyone know at the track, wink, wink, they really do want to see under your hood after you burn the tires off in first gear. Idle is solid and steady.

Ignition Timing

I have a 92 Legacy SS. I'm running a Ver. 4 STI motor and a M48 Motec ecu. I was wondering if anyone knows what their ignition timing is at around 20 PSI. I have tried trying to get it from my buddies 94 Legacy but we really can't confirm what they have programed the ignition map to be at that piont.
