Changing stuff on your car isn't that hard, just do it!

You have so many parts that u can install without the help of Bram and his shed/garage, right ?

The tranny works till it breaks down probably with a lot of noise and loss of gears. Some turbo's need a new tranny after 150K, a trailer tower Outback in Sweden has 400k with the original tranny. You also can't judge a tranny condition by the oil you drain. And the shavings are normal unless it's n...

They weren't his choice either. That's how the '91 SS came here in the States.
No way! Even duct tape looks better, :-D

But greet wheels ! I'm hoping to mount some 17" in the next month myself!

The lowering is mostly in the spring/damper, not in the space where the tire falls into. Lowering the car wouldn't give u any trouble of tires touching the suspension.

Can't u fit a normal spacer instead of an adapter ?

How many mm of space do you need ? 10 mm extra ?

You can easily measure it by taking of 1 wheel but it should be like 56 mm,

I'm not formiliar with US internet sites, but you can order them almost in every car parts shop.

5*100 universal should be fine but also pay attention to the hub diameter. Better mount all 4 instead of only the rear.
Spacers can't be to wide otherwise you don't have inuff thread left to put on the wheel bolts!!

Body work can't be (i don't have an engine cover top/bottom, i don't hear the shivering i only feel it. When you had the driveshaft out did you check it's universal joints for play or stiffness? The "shiver" discription gives me the impression it is quite fast. The drive-shaft turns quite ...

So what is the frequency of this vibration? Engine revs? Clutch is unbalanced perhaps. Wheel revs? Axles or wheels are bent, unbalanced, got play. Approximatly four times wheel revs? Drive shaft to rear is missaligned. Maybe shivering is a better word to describe it, The car "shivers" not...

This evening I drove 125 mph , and stil had some RPM left.
That is at 6200 RPM, rev limiter is 6700 and diff is 4.111, so it's a very short fifth gear,

Cool ! :D
