Problem has not returned car is running great..

Thanks for the responses. The problem seems to have worked itself out. It runs great, when I hit the gas it gets up and goes like new. Must have been something in the gas, cause it ran perfect after I filled her up. Thanks again.

No engine light on.

Excuse my ignorance but I do not understand

1994 2.2turbo sedan. 146000km.
When I accelerate hard I get a kind of stumbling, loss of power, backfire. Apart from this the car runs like new, I changed the plugs, and wires. Thanks in advance. By the way I'm new to this site.
