Re: 5 speed swapero time into vdc wagon

Yes I do agree that its pretty awesome these h6's bolt right up to the ej series trans. Ive sourced some p...

Re: 5 speed swapero time into vdc wagon

From my understanding you can easily Deactivate the VDC manually so from that I assumed the ecu would think the same thing with a 5 speed. Sorry to ask such a simple Question and not search as I was trying to explain its hard with my lack of internet and I appreciate the responses ill go read that t...

Car won't turn over after ej22t and 5mt swap.

The red/yellow wire for your starter is triggered hot with the Ignition, from there you have a blue wire that is wired into your mpfi control unit where it is switch for neutral safety. So in theory if you bypassed your neutral safety switch it should work. Do you have power to the red/yellow wire? ...

?fuel pump issues?

It's a very rare that this happens, the fuel pump assembly itself breaks so the pump itself is floating.

?fuel pump issues?

Your at that point where you can replace the pump as an excuse for preventative maintenance. It's fairly cheap and super simple to do. Before installation take a close look at your connecter and check the pins for looseness or wear. Also take a look at the whole assembly make sure it's not broken or...

-All this is true. If you have a little ambition you can make anything work.

The thread above that I pasted is a fantastic source for information. I will be posting up pics later of my build to show the route I went.

ej25d?

Use the 96-97 25D heads over the 2.5rs sohc heads. I believe the early 96's are the same as well. Benefits are the simplicity of the swap and the flow of the ej25D heads over the stockers. However I have no static proof that they flow better than the sohc heads on the RS Let me know if you need more...
