my friend needs to get some new heads for his 91SS. can he use WRX heads? how much would that cost him?

its been getting colder out, and lately ive noticed that when i start it up in the mourning which is usually about 6am, it idles at about1500-2000 when cold, i usually let it warm up for about a min or so, but when im driving down the road, and go to shift, i let off ,push in the clutch and the rpms...
